"Mei, we have to be careful; the weather seems to be changing," he said.

Liu is an introverted person, and this journey is an opportunity for him to find inner peace.

"We can walk slowly and enjoy the scenery along the way," he suggested.

三人开始沿着蜿蜒的石阶向上攀登，途经古老的寺庙和遍布绿树的小道。

The three of them began climbing the winding stone steps, passing ancient temples and paths lined with green trees.

随着攀登的高度增加，天气变得越来越阴沉，乌云正在聚集。

As they climbed higher, the weather became increasingly overcast, and dark clouds were gathering.

“继续前进，还有一点路程！”梅挥舞着手，示意朋友们加快脚步。

"Keep moving forward, there's just a little more to go!" Mei waved her hand, signaling her friends to speed up.

健和刘虽然感到疲乏，但还是选择信任梅，于是继续前进。

Though Jian and Liu felt tired, they chose to trust Mei and continued onward.

然而，随着时间的推移，山上开始下起小雨，紧接着风也越来越大。

However, as time passed, it began to rain lightly on the mountain, followed by increasingly strong winds.

“梅，我们该找个地方避雨。”健大声提醒。

"Mei, we should find a place to shelter from the rain," Jian reminded loudly.

“可是，我们离山顶已经很近了！”梅内心挣扎，她的理想和朋友的安全之间出现了冲突。

"But we're so close to the top!" Mei struggled internally as her ideals conflicted with her friends' safety.

这时，雷声响起，风雨越发猛烈。

At that moment, thunder roared, and the wind and rain became more intense.

梅深吸一口气，终于下定了决心。

Mei took a deep breath and finally made up her mind.

“好，我们先找个地方避雨。”她对朋友们说。

"Alright, let's find a place to take shelter from the rain first," she said to her friends.

最后，他们在一个小庙宇找到庇护。

Eventually, they found refuge in a small temple.

Although they missed the sunrise, their safety was ensured.
