They were silent for a while, Mei staring at the lantern in her hand, unable to hesitate any longer.

“张，我有很多话想说。我不想你走，不想失去你。”她的声音微微颤抖。

"Zhang, I have a lot to say. I don't want you to leave; I don't want to lose you," her voice trembled slightly.

“可是，这段时间我总在想，我一直在为你妥协，却也舍弃了自己的梦想。我害怕再这样下去，我们会变成陌生人。”
