High above the Karpaty, in the golden colors of autumn, stood Mount Hoverla.

Its cloud-covered summit looked downward, drawing people to it.

It waited as the fingers of the cold wind brushed through its trees.

Dmytro, Oksana, and Yaroslav set out on a journey that was meant to be special.

Their grandfather, Petro, loved these mountains.

His last wish was for his ashes to be scattered here, at the summit.

Dmytro, being the eldest, felt the responsibility.

He wanted to honor his grandfather's wish but was at the same time afraid things wouldn't go as planned.

They walked slowly along the narrow path.

High in the sky, dark clouds gathered, promising a storm.

    "Maybe we should turn back?"

    Yaroslav asked, holding Oksana's hand.

He was Dmytro's younger brother and often hesitated in challenging situations.

    "No," replied Dmytro, looking ahead.

    "We must continue.

This is important for all of us.

    And for Grandpa."

But the mountains whispered insistently of danger.

The cold wind began to blow stronger, and the rain droplets became more frequent.

Just a little further up, and they would reach their goal.

But with each step, the decision became harder.

Suddenly, a strong wind forced them to press against the rocks, seeking shelter.

Oksana looked tired, cautiously glancing at Dmytro.

She wanted to go further, but understood it was already too dangerous.

Dmytro looked at the world around him for a long time.

Meanwhile, a whirlwind of thoughts kept swirling inside.

He thought about his grandfather, his stories of youth in these mountains.

Finally, weighing all the pros and cons, Dmytro made a decision.

"We'll stop here, under this rock," he said calmly.

The place appeared cozy, protected from the wind.

He knew they hadn’t reached the summit, but it would be enough.

They carefully scattered the ashes, and the wind gently took them.

The rain subsided a bit, greeting their decision.

They all stood silently together, united by one moment.

Dmytro felt the weight lift from his shoulders.

Now, with peace in their hearts, they turned back, holding hands.

He realized that it was important not only to honor memory but also to protect those close by.

Hoverla quietly listened to new footsteps on its paths, knowing that Grandfather Petro had now become part of this majestic mountain.

Harmony returned to the family, and Dmytro learned to see the importance of changing plans.
