Саме тут, в оточенні величних гір, вирушили на прогулянку Оксана і Дмитро.

It was here, surrounded by majestic mountains, that Oksana and Dmytro set out for a walk.

Оксана — молода жінка з допитливим поглядом.

Oksana is a young woman with an inquisitive look.

Їй подобається досліджувати природу і шукати магію в її таємницях.

She likes to explore nature and seek magic in its mysteries.

Дмитро ж більш обережний — він завжди пам’ятає про безпеку і намагається дбати про них обох.

Dmytro, on the other hand, is more cautious — he always remembers safety and tries to take care of them both.

Літнє сонце лагідно освітлювало стежки, а в повітрі відчувався свіжий аромат сосен.

The summer sun gently illuminated the paths, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of pines.

Вони мали на меті відвідати вершину, звідки відкривалися дивовижні види на Карпати.

They aimed to visit a peak offering amazing views of the Karpaty.

Але Оксана не могла не думати про свято Івана Купала, яке мало відбутися через кілька днів.

But Oksana couldn't help thinking about the Ivana Kupala holiday, which was to take place in a few days.

Вона чула, що в цю ніч можна знайти чарівну квітку папороті, яка виконує бажання.

She had heard that on this night one can find the magical fern flower that grants wishes.

"Що думаєш про це?

"What do you think about it?"

" — запитала Оксана, зупинившись на мить, щоб насолодитися видом.

— Oksana asked, pausing for a moment to enjoy the view.

"Я думаю, що фольклор — це цікаво, але не варто ризикувати", — відповів Дмитро з усмішкою.

"I think folklore is interesting, but it's not worth the risk," — replied Dmytro with a smile.

"Краще дотримуватися стежки.

"It's better to stick to the path."

"Проте Оксана відчувала, що цього разу все буде інакше.

However, Oksana felt that this time it would be different.

Вона вміло привела їх обох вглиб лісу, сподіваючись віднайти те, про що говорило сказання.

She skillfully led them both deeper into the forest, hoping to find what the legend spoke of.

"Давайте пошукаємо хоча б трохи", — наполягала вона, вдивляючись у лісові зарості.

"Let's at least search a little," — she insisted, peering into the forest thickets.

Дмитро вагався, але не хотів залишити Оксану одну.

Dmytro hesitated, but he didn't want to leave Oksana alone.

Їх пошуки приводили все далі від головної стежки.

Their search led them further from the main path.

Серед вечірніх тіней, Оксана раптом завмерла.

Among the evening shadows, Oksana suddenly froze.

"Дивися, Дим!

"Look, Dym!

Там, попереду, щось незвичайне!

There, ahead, something unusual!"

" — прошепотіла вона, відірвавшись від шепоту вітру.

— she whispered, tearing herself away from the whisper of the wind.

Дмитро вдивлявся вперед, але побачив тільки звичайні кущі.

Dmytro squinted ahead but saw only ordinary bushes.

Сонце вже сідало за обрій, і він відчув занепокоєння.

The sun was already setting beyond the horizon, and he felt a growing concern.

"Ми далеко від головної стежки", — обережно сказав він.

"We are far from the main path," — he cautiously said.

"Тут легко загубитися.

"It's easy to get lost here."

"Оксана на мить похитнулася.

Oksana wavered for a moment.

Вона зрозуміла, що здійснила помилку.

She realized she made a mistake.

Що, якщо їх пошуки закінчаться нічим?

What if their search ended in vain?

І як тепер повернутися назад?

And how would they return now?

Але раптом вони почули звук води.

But suddenly, they heard the sound of water.

Легкий шум потоку, невидимого за густими деревами, став для них путівником до безпеки.

The gentle rustle of a stream, invisible behind dense trees, became their guide back to safety.

Дотримуючись звуку, вони знайшли дорогу назад до стежки.

Following the sound, they found their way back to the path.

Стомлені, вони зупинилися, щоб відпочити.

Tired, they stopped to rest.

Оксана подивилася на Дмитра з усмішкою.

Oksana looked at Dmytro with a smile.

"Дякую, що був поруч," — сказала вона.

"Thank you for being there," — she said.

"Я зрозуміла, що важливо не лише шукати пригоди, але й цінувати друзів, які завжди готові допомогти.

"I've realized it's important not only to seek adventures but to appreciate friends who are always ready to help."

"Дмитро кивнув.

Dmytro nodded.

"А я зрозумів, що варто іноді довіряти інтуїції," — засміявся він, підбадьоруючи її.

"And I realized that it's worth trusting intuition sometimes," — he laughed, encouraging her.

І хоча Оксана так і не знайшла квітку, вона відкрила для себе інше — справжнє почуття дружби і баланс між мріями і безпекою.

And although Oksana did not find the flower, she discovered something else — a true sense of friendship and a balance between dreams and safety.

Вони вирушили далі, вже з новими відчуттями, в чарівні Карпати.

They continued on their way, now with new feelings, into the magical Karpaty.
