"Олено," — сказав він, сідаючи поруч, — "ти повинна виступити на концерті.

У мене багато справ удома.

I have many responsibilities at home.

Батьки розраховують на мене," — відповіла вона, сумно відводячи погляд.

My parents rely on me," she replied, sadly looking away.

"Але музика — це твоє.

"But music is your thing.

Я допоможу тобі.

I'll help you.

Ми зможемо тренуватися ввечері, коли діти вже сплять," — запропонував Ігор, і його слова нагадували сонячний промінь, який пробивається крізь хмари.

We can practice in the evenings when the kids are already asleep," suggested Ihor, and his words were like a sunbeam breaking through the clouds.

Так і почалося їхнє таємне заняття.

And so their secret practice began.

Вночі, коли вдома ставало тихо, Олена йшла до парку, де її вже чекав Ігор.
