Весна вже давно заволоділа містом.

Легкий вітер з моря наповнював повітря свіжістю, і вуличні торговці продавали квіти, овочі та свіжу рибу.

Але головна подія в цей день була весілля, що сходить схилом величних сходів.

But the main event of this day was a wedding descending the slopes of those majestic stairs.

Ось тут і виникла проблема.

Олександр зробив перші кроки вгору сходами, але весільна процесія загородила його шлях.

Oleksandr took the first steps up the stairs, but the wedding procession blocked his path.

Наречені сміялися й танцювали, заповнюючи всю дорогу.

Ще й те лілії, які викликали у Олександра непереборне чхання.

Він був у пастці між романтикою весілля і власною романтичною місією.

"Треба пройти, інакше Катерина так і не побачить мій сюрприз," думав Олександр, пригинаючись і намагаючись проштовхнутися між людським потоком.

Eventually, he managed, nearly reaching the top when a gust of wind unexpectedly tore part of the bouquet from his grasp and scattered it down the stairs.

Собі тут вже не зарадити, і бігти за квітами теж безглуздо.

Salvaging the situation seemed impossible, and chasing after the flowers was pointless.

Але у нього з'явилась ідея.

But then, he had an idea.

Він підняв залишений букет, спробував надати йому гарнішої форми, і, з прикрасним сміхом, підійшов до Катерини.

He picked up the remaining bouquet, attempted to reshape it more attractively, and with an enchanting laugh, approached Kateryna.

"Вибач, що трохи зменшився розмір букета, але тепер це – спеціальний вітерний букет", - сказав він, трішки ніяковіючи, але по-доброму.

"Sorry, the bouquet's size has been slightly reduced, but now it's a special wind bouquet," he said, feeling a bit embarrassed but in good spirits.

Катерина вибухнула сміхом.

Kateryna burst into laughter.

Вона взяла у нього квіти і, подивившись в його очі, сказала: "Твоя щирість і сміх мені подобаються навіть більше, ніж усі квіти світу.

She took the flowers from him and, looking into his eyes, said, "I like your sincerity and laughter even more than all the flowers in the world."
