Софія та Дмитро переглянулися, але погодилися.

Вони вирушили вузькою стежкою, яку заросли весняні квіти, до одного з найтаємничіших куточків парку.

They set off along a narrow path overgrown with spring flowers to one of the most mysterious corners of the park.

Коли вони увійшли в темряву печери, Софія натрапила на старий, запилений лист.

When they entered the darkness of the cave, Sofiya stumbled upon an old, dusty letter.

"Що це?

"What is this?"

" — запитала вона, розгортаючи його обережно.

she asked, carefully unfolding it.

Лист був написаний давньою рукою й починався словами, які примусили її серце битися частіше: "Моя дорога Софіє, якщо ти читаєш це, значить доля вирішила, що ти маєш дізнатися правду.

The letter was written by an ancient hand and began with words that made her heart beat faster: "My dear Sofiye, if you are reading this, it means fate has decided that you must learn the truth."

"Софія швидко прочитала листа вголос.
