" — благає Дмитро, розсипаючи навколо себе крихти хліба.

Врешті-решт, він починає уявляти, що кожне ко-корик – це сміх.

Eventually, he starts imagining every cooing sound as laughter.

Це додає йому впевненості, і він намагається ще більше.

This gives him confidence, and he tries even harder.

І саме тоді, коли Дмитро виголошує свій кульмінаційний жарт, до бункера забігає екскурсійна група на чолі з Оленою.

Just then, when Dmytro delivers his climactic joke, a tour group led by Olena rushes into the bunker.

Туристи, які прийшли подивитись на історичні тунелі, були застигнуті зненацька.
