Bohdan and Maria strolled among the wooden stalls, glittering with festive lights.

У натовпі загубився їхній голос, але не їхні думки.

She loved the festive atmosphere but felt that Bohdan was somehow distant, even though he was right beside her.

"Чому ти такий далекий?

"Why are you so distant?"

" - зрештою не втрималася Марія, коли вони зупинилися біля кіоску з прикрасами.

Maria finally could not hold back as they stopped by a stall with ornaments.

Богдан зітхнув.

Bohdan sighed.

Він знав, що цей момент неминучий.

He knew this moment was inevitable.

"Я теж це відчуваю," - визнав він, озираючись навколо.

"I feel it too," he admitted, looking around.

Його погляд впав на прикрасу у формі серця, що символізувала ніжність і почуття.

His gaze fell on a heart-shaped ornament that symbolized tenderness and feelings.

"Я хотів би купити це для нас", - тихо промовив він, вказуючи на серце.

"I would like to buy this for us," he quietly said, pointing at the heart.

Марія пильно поглянула на нього, розгублена та трохи зворушена.

Maria looked at him intently, confused and slightly touched.

"Для чого?

"For what?"

" - спитала вона.

she asked.

"Це символ нашої подорожі разом", - відповів Богдан, відчуваючи якось легше на серці.

"This is a symbol of our journey together," Bohdan replied, feeling somewhat relieved.

Він хотів показати цим прикрасою, що готовий знову боротися за них.

He wanted to show with this ornament that he was ready to fight for them again.

Серед мерехтливих вогників ярмарку вони зупинилися, щоб зрозуміти одне одного.

Among the twinkling lights of the market, they paused to understand each other.

"Я відчуваю, що ти усе частіше подумки витрачаєш час на щось інше, - сказала Марія, - я хочу знати, чи є ще місце для нас у твоєму серці.

"I feel that more often you're mentally spending time on something else," Maria said, "I want to know if there's still a place for us in your heart."

"Богдан обійняв її руками.

Bohdan embraced her with his arms.

"Я боюся втратити тебе, - зізнався він.

"I'm afraid of losing you, he confessed.

- Але тепер я хочу виправити це.

But now I want to fix this.

Різдво - це час нових можливостей.

Christmas is a time for new opportunities.

Давай спробуємо разом.

Let's try together."

"Марія кивнула, відчуваючи, як теплі розчулені сльози біжать по її щоці.

Maria nodded, feeling warm, moved tears running down her cheek.

"Добре", - сказала вона тихо, усвідомлюючи, що цей момент був потрібен їм обом.

"Alright," she quietly said, realizing that this moment was needed for both of them.
