Herkesin içinde bir kıpırtı, bir heyecan vardı.

Leyla's understanding eyes always comforted him.

Kerem ise biraz ötede duruyor ve sessizce arkadaşlarının telaşlarını izliyordu.

Meanwhile, Kerem was standing a bit further away, quietly observing his friends’ excitement.

Kerem, sınıfın en başarılı öğrencisiydi.

Kerem was the most successful student in the class.

Bu durum, Emir'i hep biraz kıskandırırdı ama Kerem'in kendine güveni ve sakinliği her zaman takdir edilirdi.

This always made Emir a bit envious, but Kerem's confidence and calmness were always admired.

Liste okulun duyuru panosuna asıldığında, kalabalık oraya doğru yöneldi.

When the list was posted on the school's bulletin board, the crowd moved toward it.

Emir kalbinde bir yumruyla panoya yaklaştı.

Emir approached the board with a lump in his heart.

Emir o an derin bir nefes aldı.

At that moment, Emir took a deep breath.

Leyla'nın sözleri ona bir şeyi hatırlattı.

Leyla's words reminded him of something.

Annesi ve babası sevgi doluydu.
