Her eyes were as cold and distant as the tower.

Emir, içinden bir oh çekti.

Emir breathed a sigh of relief.

"Gelin bakalım, en yukarı çıkalım," dedi.

"Come on, let's go up to the top," he said.

Asansöre bindiklerinde, Kerem heyecanla düğmelere bastı.

As they got into the elevator, Kerem excitedly pressed the buttons.

Aylin ise sessizce kenara çekilip dışarıyı izliyordu.

Aylin quietly stepped aside and observed the view outside.

Üst katta, şehir ayaklarının altındaydı.

At the top, the city was beneath their feet.

Emir, Aylin ve Kerem’e dönerek, "Buradan bakınca her şey ne kadar küçük görünüyor değil mi?" dedi.

Turning to Aylin and Kerem, Emir said, "From here, everything looks so small, doesn't it?"

Kerem heyecanla ayağını yere vurdu, "Evet! Çok güzel!"

Kerem stomped his foot excitedly, "Yes! It's wonderful!"

Fakat Aylin hiç ses çıkarmıyordu.

But Aylin remained silent.

Emir, biraz tereddütle kızına döndü.

Emir, a bit hesitant, turned to his daughter.

"Aylin, bu seni biraz düşündürüyor, değil mi?"

"Aylin, this makes you think a bit, doesn't it?"

Aylin, sessizliğini nihayet bozarak, "Evet, baba. Bu değişiklikler çok hızlı oldu," diye mırıldandı.

Aylin, finally breaking her silence, murmured, "Yes, Dad. These changes happened too fast."

Emir yanına gelip, "Biliyor musun, ben de aynı şekilde hissediyorum. Kolay değil. Ama hep beraber üstesinden geleceğiz," dedi.

Emir came over to her and said, "You know, I feel the same way. It's not easy. But we will overcome this together."

Aylin biraz rahatlamış gibi ona baktı, "Beni gerçekten anlıyor musun?" diye sordu.

Aylin looked at him a bit relieved, "Do you really understand me?" she asked.

"Biliyorum, hislerin karmaşık. Hepimiz için farklı olan buydu," dedi Emir.

"I know your feelings are complex. This was different for all of us," said Emir.

"Ama şunu bil: Sen ve Kerem benim için çok değerli ve önemli. Ailemiz hala burada," diye ekledi.

"But know this: You and Kerem are very precious and important to me. Our family is still here," he added.

Aylin’in yüzünde hafif bir gülümseme belirdi.

A slight smile appeared on Aylin's face.

"Bunu duymak iyi geldi," dedi.

"It's good to hear that," she said.

Kalbinden bir yük kalkmış gibi hisseden Emir, onların yanına oturdu.

Feeling as if a weight had been lifted from his heart, Emir sat down next to them.
