On a cool and pleasant autumn day, Naphap and Chai arrived at a retreat in Chiang Mai.

The serene mountains were surrounded by lush green forests, and the soft sound of bells carried on the wind.

Naphap carried a small box containing his father's ashes, while Chai followed his brother with a heart full of emotions.

"พี่นภาพ เราต้องทำตามที่พ่อหวังจริงหรอ?" ชัยถามด้วยเสียงแผ่วเบา

"Pee Naphap, do we really have to fulfill father's wish?" Chai asked in a soft voice.

นภาพพยักหน้า เขารู้สึกถึงความรับผิดชอบที่ต้องทำตามความปรารถนาสุดท้ายของบิดา

Naphap nodded, feeling the responsibility to honor his father's final wish.

"พี่คิดว่าเราควรทำตามพิธีแบบดั้งเดิมนะชัย เพื่อเป็นการให้เกียรติพ่อ" นภาพกล่าว

"I think we should follow the traditional ceremony, Chai, to honor father," Naphap said.

ชัยค่อนข้างลังเล แต่เขารู้สึกว่ามีสิ่งที่อยากจะสื่อสารกับพ่อมากกว่าแค่พิธี

Chai was a bit hesitant but felt there was more he wanted to communicate with his father than just through the ceremony.

On the day they were to release the ashes, Naphap prepared offerings and incense according to Thai tradition.

ในขณะที่ชัยนั่งเงียบ เขามองดูลมที่พลิ้วใบไม้และน้ำตาที่ไหลออกมา

Meanwhile, Chai sat silently, watching the leaves sway in the wind and tears fall.

"ชัย เรามาทำพิธีด้วยกันนะ" นภาพเรียก

"Chai, let's perform the ceremony together," Naphap called out.

ชัยลุกขึ้นยืนและเดินเข้ามาหาพี่ชาย

Chai stood up and walked over to his brother.

"พี่นภาพ ผมรู้สึกว่าเราควรมีช่วงเวลาที่เป็นของเราเองด้วย

"Pee Naphap, I feel that we should have our own moment too.

พ่อคงอยากให้เราจำวันเวลาที่มีความสุขกับท่าน" ชัยกล่าวด้วยน้ำตา

Father would want us to remember the happy times we had with him," Chai said with tears.

นภาพรู้สึกสะท้อนใจ

Naphap felt touched.

เขาหันมาโอบกอดน้องชาย

He turned to embrace his younger brother.

"ใช่ เราควรทำตามประเพณี แต่ก็ต้องไม่ลืมความรู้สึกของเรา"

"Yes, we should follow traditions, but we mustn't forget our own feelings."

ในที่สุด พี่น้องทั้งสองตัดสินใจทำพิธีที่ผสมผสานทั้งสองแบบ

In the end, the brothers decided on a ceremony blending both traditions.

นภาพยังคงทำหน้าที่ตามประเพณี แต่ในขณะเดียวกัน ชัยก็ได้เล่านิทานและความทรงจำที่มีค่ากับพ่อ

Naphap adhered to the customs, while Chai shared stories and cherished memories with their father.
