A light rain drizzles down at the Chatuchak Weekend Market this weekend.

ท่ามกลางกลุ่มคนที่กางร่มทยอยเข้ามาในตลาด สายตาของอนงค์มองหาผ้าและเครื่องแต่งกายที่เธอจะใช้ทำชุดเทศกาลกินเจ

Among the crowd of people opening umbrellas and making their way into the market, Anong's eyes search for fabrics and garments to use for making outfits for the Vegetarian Festival.

She is a young nurse with a dream of having her own street food business, but she faces obstacles from both the rain and the warnings of Krit, her brother who is a graphic designer.

"Are you sure you want to go through with this? It's risky," Krit said as they trudged through the bustling market.

Supansa, Anong's close friend, also helped guide the way.

“ไม่ต้องสนใจฝนหรอก เราต้องหาของดีราคาถูกให้เจอ” เธอเอ่ยพร้อมจับมืออนงค์ให้แน่นขึ้น

"Don't mind the rain. We need to find good stuff at a good price," she said, holding Anong's hand tighter.

The Chatuchak Weekend Market was lively with the sounds of commerce, the colors from fashion fabric stalls, and the aroma from many food stalls.

At that moment, Anong navigated through the market where water started to pool.

ฝนยังตกลงมาหนักแต่เธอไม่ยอมถอย

The rain fell heavier, but she refused to back down.

Anong and Supansa quickly chose some unique-colored fabrics, while Krit nodded supportively, though still with some doubt.

After braving the rain with determination, Anong wore the outfit she made from the fabrics purchased at the market and opened her booth at the Vegetarian Festival, proving her skill and effort.
