Anurak is a careful spender with a limited budget.

He walks past a row of fragrant food stalls before stopping at an artisan craft shop.

บุษบา แม่ค้ายิ้มกว้างต้อนรับเขา

Butsaba, the shopkeeper, warmly welcomes him with a wide smile.

"สวัสดีค่า ดูอะไรดีคะ?" เธอทักทายด้วยน้ำเสียงน่าฟังและอบอุ่น

"Sawasdee ka, what would you like to look at?" she greets him with a pleasant and warm voice.

"ผมกำลังหาของขวัญให้แม่ครับ" อนุรักษ์ตอบพลางมองดูสิ่งของรอบร้าน

"I’m looking for a gift for my mom," Anurak replies while browsing the items around the shop.

ที่นี่มีงานไม้แกะสลัก ถ้วยชามดินเผา และเครื่องประดับทำมือมากมาย

The shop has carved wooden pieces, pottery, and handmade jewelry.

สิ่งหนึ่งที่ดึงดูดสายตาของเขาคือ รูปสลักไม้ที่มีลายลึกซึ้งแต่งดงาม

One item that catches his eye is a wooden carving with intricate and beautiful designs.

"ชิ้นนี้สวยมากครับ ราคาเท่าไหร่ครับ?" เขาถามด้วยความหวัง

"This piece is very beautiful. How much is it?" he asks hopefully.

"ราคาอยู่ที่สามพันบาทค่ะ" บุษบาตอบ

"The price is three thousand baht," Butsaba replies.

อนุรักษ์รู้สึกทึ่ง แต่ก็รู้ว่าราคานี้สูงเกินกว่าเขาจ่ายได้

Anurak is impressed but knows the price is beyond what he can afford.

He stands still, thinking.

"ผมมีงบจำกัดครับ ถ้าผมขอต่อสักหน่อยได้ไหมครับ?" เขาถามอย่างสุภาพ

"I have a limited budget. May I request a small discount?" he asks politely.

บุษบามองเห็นความจริงใจในสายตาของอนุรักษ์

Butsaba sees the sincerity in Anurak's eyes.

เธอหยิบรูปสลักขึ้นมาพลางยิ้ม

She picks up the carving with a smile.

"คุณมาซื้อของขวัญให้แม่เลยขอราคาพิเศษให้ก็ได้ค่ะ สองพันบาท โอเคไหมคะ?"

"Since you're buying a gift for your mom, I can give you a special price of two thousand baht. Is that okay?"

Anurak smiles widely, feeling grateful for Butsaba's kindness.
