On a morning when the sky cleared after the rain, atop a hill where the educational campus in Chiang Mai stands, the sound of the bell roused the students from slumber.

Pim pulled her blanket tightly, leaving her younger brother, Ananda, to wake her up.

The sound of the rain being swayed by the wind became a familiar sound of distant cold days.
