In April of the hottest year, Ananda poured coffee into her cup and sat down at her desk in the towering office in the heart of Bangkok.

บรรยากาศภายในออฟฟิศเงียบขรึม แต่ภายนอก รถยนต์และผู้คนเดินทางไปมาราวกับโลกไม่ได้หยุดหมุน

The atmosphere inside the office was solemnly quiet, but outside, cars and people moved back and forth as if the world hadn't stopped spinning.

เธอเพ่งมองผ่านกระจกไปยังเมืองที่เช้าก็ยังร้อนอบอ้าว

She gazed through the glass at the city, still sweltering in the morning heat.

นกและอานันดาเป็นเพื่อนร่วมงานกัน ต่างช่วยเหลือและให้กำลังใจกันบ่อยครั้ง เวลาต้องเจอปัญหา

Bird and Ananda are colleagues, often helping and encouraging each other when facing problems.

วันนี้มีภารกิจสำคัญสองเรื่องต้องทำให้เสร็จ

Today, there were two important tasks to complete.

อานันดามีโปรเจ็กท์ใหญ่ที่ต้องส่งให้เจ้านายภายในวันนี้ และในขณะเดียวกัน เขาต้องไปโรงเรียนเพื่อเข้าร่วมการประเมินผลประจำปีของกมล ลูกชายเธอที่กำลังตื่นเต้นปนประหม่า

Ananda had a big project to submit to her boss by the end of the day, and at the same time, she had to go to school to attend Kamol's annual evaluation, her son who was both excited and nervous.

"พ่อจะไปกับหนูไหม?" กมลถามขณะที่อานันดาเตรียมตัวไปทำงาน

"Will you come with me, Dad?" Kamol asked as Ananda prepared for work.

กมลอยู่ในชุดนักเรียนเรียบร้อย พร้อมกระเป๋าสะพายที่เต็มไปด้วยหนังสือเล่มเล็กเล่มน้อย

Kamol was neatly dressed in his school uniform, with a backpack full of small books.

"พ่อจะไปแน่นอนลูก แค่ต้องจัดการงานนิดหน่อย" อานันดาพยายามให้ความมั่นใจ ถึงแม้ในใจยังมีความกังวลอยู่บ้าง

"I'll definitely go, son. I just need to handle some work first," Ananda tried to reassure, even though she felt a bit anxious inside.

นกเดินเข้ามาที่โต๊ะทำงานของอานันดา

Bird walked over to Ananda's desk.

"อานะ ได้ยินว่าโปรเจ็กท์ของเธอต้องรีบทำเสร็จใช่ไหม?"

"Hey, I heard your project needs to be finished quickly, right?"

อานันดาพยักหน้า ท่าทางหนักใจ

Ananda nodded, looking heavy-hearted.

"ใช่ แต่ก็อยากให้กมลเข้าใจว่าพ่อก็สำคัญกับเขาเหมือนกัน"

"Yes, but I also want Kamol to understand that his father is important to him too."

นกยิ้มออกมา

Bird smiled.

"เธอเคยคิดจะขอความช่วยเหลือไหม? โปรเจ็กท์ใหญ่ ใช่จะทำคนเดียวได้เสมอไป"

"Have you ever thought about asking for help? A big project isn’t always something you can do alone."

เวลาผ่านไปจนถึงบ่ายคล้อย อานันดาพบข้อผิดพลาดในโปรเจ็กท์

Time passed to late afternoon, and Ananda found an error in the project.

เธอรู้ว่าต้องแก้ไข แต่เวลาก็รุกเร้าเข้ามาทุกที

She knew it needed fixing, but time was pressing urgently.

"นก ฉันต้องการความช่วยเหลือจริงๆ" อานันดาเอ่ยเสียงแดงเร่าร้อน

"Bird, I really need help," Ananda admitted, her voice warm with urgency.

"มอบบางส่วนให้ฉันสิ ฉันจะช่วยแก้ไขให้" นกให้สัญญาอย่างมั่นใจ

"Give me a part of it; I'll help fix it," Bird promised confidently.

ทันทีที่ได้รับความช่วยเหลือจากนก โปรเจ็กท์ก็เข้าสู่ทางที่ถูกต้อง

As soon as she received Bird's help, the project was back on track.

อานันดาสามารถออกจากออฟฟิศ และเดินทางไปโรงเรียน

Ananda was able to leave the office and head to the school.

เมื่อถึงที่โรงเรียน อานันดาเห็นกมลยิ้มแหย่เขาอยู่ที่หน้าประตู

Upon reaching the school, Ananda saw Kamol with a teasing smile at the door.

"พ่อทำได้!" เธอหัวเราะและกอดลูกชาย

"Dad did it!" She laughed and hugged her son.

เธอรู้ดีว่าการมาถึงทันเวลาเป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุด

She knew well that arriving on time was the most important thing.

ในวันนั้น อานันดาได้เรียนรู้ว่า บางครั้งการขอความช่วยเหลือก็เป็นหนทางที่ดีที่สุด และไม่ควรมองข้ามการใช้เวลาอยู่กับคนที่เรารักมากที่สุด

On that day, Ananda learned that sometimes asking for help is the best course of action and that she should never overlook the importance of spending time with the ones we love the most.
