แสงแดดอุ่น ๆ สาดส่องเข้ามาในห้องพักของอาทิตย์

ห้องพักอยู่ชั้นสามของหอพักนักศึกษาในกรุงเทพฯ

The room was on the third floor of a student dormitory in Bangkok.

ข้างหน้าต่าง เขามองเห็นถนนที่เต็มไปด้วยเสียงโหวกเหวกจากการเตรียมงานสงกรานต์

Outside the window, he could see the street filled with the festive noises of preparations for Songkran.

เพื่อน ๆ เริ่มออกมาซื้อของ เตรียมน้ำให้น้ำพร่างพรมกัน

Friends began to emerge to shop, preparing water to splash each other.

ทุกคนดูตื่นเต้น มีแต่เขาที่รู้สึกกังวล

Everyone seemed excited, but only he felt anxious.

“อาทิตย์! ไปสงกรานต์กันเถอะ” พลอยเพื่อนซี้ของเขาตะโกน

"Arthit! Let's go to Songkran," his close friend Ploy shouted.

“ไม่ต้องกลัวสอบหรอก แค่วันเดียวเอง

"Don't worry about the exams; it's just one day.

เดี๋ยวก็กลับมาอ่านหนังสือได้”

You can go back to studying afterward."

สุรศักดิ์ ผสมโรงกับพลอย “ถูกต้องแล้ว นายทำแบบนี้ทุกปี

Surasak joined Ploy, "Exactly, you do this every year.

ปีนี้ปล่อยตัวให้เป็นอิสระสักวัน”

This year, let yourself be free for a day."

อาทิตย์พยักหน้าช้า ๆ

Arthit nodded slowly.

เขารู้ดีว่าเขาต้องใช้เวลาอ่านหนังสือ แต่ใจหนึ่งก็กระตือรือร้นที่จะลองสิ่งใหม่ ๆ

He knew he needed to spend time studying, but part of him was eager to try something new.

สงกรานต์ครั้งนี้อาจจะให้ประสบการณ์ที่เขาอยากได้

This Songkran could offer the experience he had been looking for.

มือหนึ่งถือชีทอัดแน่นด้วยข้อมูลและโจทย์ อีกมือถือบัตรเชิญไปสนุกกับสงกรานต์

With one hand holding sheets crammed with information and problems, the other held an invitation to enjoy Songkran.

ในที่สุดเขาตัดสินใจ ทิ้งชีทและออกไปกับเพื่อน ๆ ไปยืนอยู่กลางถนนรายล้อมด้วยรอยยิ้มและเสียงหัวเราะ

Finally, he decided to leave the sheets behind and went out with his friends, standing in the middle of the street surrounded by smiles and laughter.

น้ำเย็นสดชื่นกระทบใบหน้า

Cool, refreshing water splashed on his face.

ความสุขแพร่กระจายไปในทุกตัวอักษรของเมือง

Happiness spread all over the vibrant streets of the city.

เสียงเพลงอันคึกคักดึงดูดความสนใจ พ่อค้าแม่ขายเดินแจกขนมให้กับผู้คน

Energetic music captured everyone's attention, while vendors handed out snacks to the crowd.

อาทิตย์รู้สึกเหมือนตัวเองเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของอะไรที่ยิ่งใหญ่กว่าเขาเอง

Arthit felt like he was part of something greater than himself.

เวลาผ่านไปเร็ว เมื่อแสงแดดเลื่อนไปทางตะวันตกในที่สุด

Time flew by as the sun eventually moved westward.

อาทิตย์เดินกลับหอพักพร้อมกับเพื่อน ๆ เขามองดูไฟฟ้าที่ถนนเห็นการเตรียมพร้อมสำหรับวันต่อไปที่กำลังจะมาถึง

Arthit walked back to the dormitory with his friends, watching the street lights that signaled preparations for the next day.

“ดีจริง ๆ ที่ออกมา” อาทิตย์ยิ้มให้กับเพื่อน

"I'm glad I came out," Arthit smiled at his friends.

“ว่าง ๆ จะมาช่วยดูชีทอ่านหนังสือให้ก็ดีนะ”

"It'd be great if you could help me with my study sheets sometime."

สุรศักดิ์หัวเราะเบา ๆ ก่อนโอบไหล่เขา

Surasak chuckled softly before patting him on the shoulder.

“แน่นอนนาย

"Of course, buddy.

คราวนี้เราจะช่วยกันทั้งเรื่องเรียนและเรื่องเล่น ให้มันสมดุลกัน”

This time, we'll help with both studying and having fun, keeping it balanced."

อาทิตย์กลับเข้าหอพัก รู้สึกปล่อยโล่งแบบที่ไม่เคยรู้สึกมาก่อน

Arthit returned to his dorm feeling a sense of relief he'd never known before.

เขานอนบนเตียงช้า ๆ ใจเต็มไปด้วยความทรงจำที่ดี

He lay down on the bed slowly, his heart filled with good memories.

วันหนึ่งในสงกรานต์ได้ทำให้เขาได้เรียนรู้ การมีสมดุลระหว่างความรับผิดชอบและความสุขถือเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่จะทำให้ชีวิตมีความหมายมากขึ้น

Songkran taught him that balancing responsibilities and happiness was key to making life more meaningful.
