One morning in April, the sunlight shone brightly over a small village in northern Thailand.

Somsak, a diligent young man with a hidden talent for cooking, arrived at the market with his mischievous younger sister, Anong, who was excited about everything around her.

"พี่สมศักดิ์ เราต้องซื้ออะไรบ้างคะ?" อนงค์ถามด้วยดวงตาที่เปล่งประกาย

"Brother Somsak, what do we need to buy?" Anong asked with sparkling eyes.

"เราต้องหาวัตถุดิบสำหรับอาหารวันนี้" สมศักดิ์ตอบ พร้อมกับหยิบรายชื่อวัตถุดิบออกมา

"We need to find ingredients for today's meal," Somsak replied, pulling out a list of ingredients.

"ต้องมีหมู เนื้อ ผัก และเครื่องแกง ครบชุด!"

"We need pork, beef, vegetables, and a full set of spices!"

ตลาดวันนี้เต็มไปด้วยผู้คน ทุกคนต่างรีบร้อนเตรียมตัวสำหรับเทศกาลสงกรานต์

The market today was filled with people, everyone hurrying to prepare for the Songkran festival.

ราคาสินค้าพุ่งสูง ทั้งหมูและเนื้อสดมีราคาแพงกว่าปกติ ทำให้สมศักดิ์ต้องต่อรองราคาอย่างหนัก

Prices for goods soared, with fresh pork and beef being more expensive than usual, causing Somsak to negotiate prices diligently.

"โอ้โห วันนี้ของแพงมากเลยค่ะพี่" อนงค์บอกขณะที่กำลังจะจับมือสมศักดิ์เดินดูร้านต่างๆ

"Oh wow, things are really pricey today, brother," Anong remarked as she held Somsak's hand and browsed through various stalls.

แล้วก็เกิดเรื่องขึ้น หมูเป็นสินค้าที่ขาดตลาดในวันนี้

Then it happened—pork was out of stock today.

สมศักดิ์ใจหาย รู้สึกผิดหวังและวุ่นวาย แต่เขายังคงคอยดูแลความสนุกของอนงค์ไม่ให้หายไปในวิกฤตนี้

Somsak was dismayed, feeling both disappointed and stressed, but he kept ensuring that Anong's fun was not diminished by the crisis.

"พี่จะแก้ไขยังไงดีคะ?" อนงค์ถามเมื่อเห็นสีหน้าพี่ชายของเธอ

"How will you solve this, brother?" Anong asked when she saw her brother's expression.

สมศักดิ์คิดครู่หนึ่ง แล้วเขากลับมีไอเดีย

Somsak thought for a moment, then he had an idea.

"เราจะใช้ไก่แทนหมู

"We'll use chicken instead of pork.

ลองทำเมนูใหม่ ผสมจานเดิมกับรสชาติท้องถิ่น!"

Let's try a new dish, mixing the original with a local twist!"

อนงค์ยิ้ม เธอมีความสุขที่สามารถช่วยพี่ชายได้

Anong smiled, happy to be able to help her brother.
