A young man named Ananda, along with his close friend Kanya, wove their way into the temple with hearts pounding.

Kanya squeezed in close to him to avoid having their clothes soaked by the Songkran water being thrown during the celebrations.

“นายต้องระวังนะ อนันดา เรื่องนี้อาจไม่ง่าย” กันยาตอบ พลางยิ้มแบบรู้ทันเพื่อนซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยความกระตือรือร้น

“You have to be careful, Ananda, this might not be easy,” Kanya replied, smiling knowingly at her enthusiastic friend.

อนันดาทราบมาว่าตะอาจะผู้ชายธรรมดาที่ชอบคุยกับพระสงฆ์ แต่ว่าวันนี้เขาต้องทำในสิ่งที่อโห้เฮ้มากขึ้น

Ananda knew that he was an ordinary guy who enjoyed talking to monks, but today he had to do something more extraordinary.

เขารู้ว่ามันมีความลับบางอย่างเกี่ยวกับมณีที่หายไปจากวัดนี้และต้องค้นหาคำตอบให้ได้

He was aware that there was a secret about a missing gem from this temple and he had to find the answer.

Kanya might distract tourists momentarily while Ananda went to talk to one of the monks who looked aged and sharp-eyed like a celestial eagle.

“หลวงพี่ครับ พอจะช่วยบอกอะไรเกี่ยวกับมณีที่หายไปได้มั้ยครับ?” อนันดาถามด้วยความหวังในดวงตา

“Monk, can you tell me anything about the missing gem?” Ananda asked, hope glinting in his eyes.

พระยิ้มหลังจากประกอบพิจารณาเรื่อง แล้วพยักหน้า เผยความลับว่า “ตรงนั้น ที่ลับด้านหลังโบสถ์ มีทางลับที่ลีลับเข้าไปยังห้องใต้ดิน ซึ่งเก็บสิ่งของสำคัญ”

The monk smiled after contemplating the matter, then nodded, revealing the secret: “Over there, behind the chapel, there's a secret passage leading to a basement where important items are kept.”

หัวใจอนันดาเต้นแรงกว่าเดิม

Ananda’s heart raced even more.

With the monk’s help and directions from Kanya, the two headed towards the chapel.
