On the morning of the Songkran Festival at Chatuchak Market in Bangkok, the sky was a bright, slightly pinkish blue.

People were full of smiles and laughter as they held water guns and bowls in their hands.

The atmosphere was filled with happiness and celebration.

สมศักดิ์ นักเรียนมัธยมปลาย เดินทางมากับเพื่อนสองคน พิมและนิรันดร์

Somsak, a high school student, traveled with his two friends, Pim and Niran.

เขาต้องการหาชุดไทยแบบดั้งเดิมเพื่อร่วมสนุกในเทศกาลนี้เป็นครั้งแรกในชีวิต

He wanted to find a traditional Thai outfit to join in the festival fun for the first time in his life.

"พิม ผมไม่รู้ว่าจะเริ่มจากไหนเลย ตลาดนี้มีของเยอะจนตื่นตา" สมศักดิ์พูดด้วยน้ำเสียงตื่นเต้นแต่ก็มีความกังวล

"Pim, I don't know where to start. This market has so much stuff, it's overwhelming," Somsak said with a voice full of excitement and a bit of worry.

"ชุดไทยเต็มไปหมด ผมอยากได้ที่เข้ากับงบประมาณด้วย"

"There are so many Thai outfits, I want to find one that fits my budget too."

พิมยิ้ม และตอบกลับ "ไม่ต้องกังวลนะ เราจะช่วยนายหาเอง ที่นี่มีเยอะ ทั้งราคาถูกและสวยงาม"

Pim smiled and replied, "Don't worry, we'll help you find one. There are plenty here that are both affordable and beautiful."

ในขณะที่เดินผ่านแผงลอยต่างๆ ความหลากหลายและความสวยงามของชุดไทยทำให้สมศักดิ์รู้สึกทั้งทึ่งและล้นหลาม

As they walked past various stalls, the variety and beauty of the Thai outfits made Somsak feel both amazed and overwhelmed.

แผงหนึ่งที่มีชื่อ "สวยงามศิลป์ไทย" ดึงดูดความสนใจของเขา

One stall called " Suayngam Sin Thai" caught his attention.

แผงนี้เต็มไปด้วยผ้าไหมสีครีมประกายทองและลายดอกไม้ที่ทำอย่างละเอียด

This stall was full of cream-colored silk with golden highlights and intricately patterned floral designs.

"สมศักดิ์ ดูนี่สิ ชุดนี้สวยมากเลยใช่ไหม?" นิรันดร์ชี้ไปที่ชุดสีแดงทองวิจิตร

"Somsak, look at this, isn't it beautiful?" Niran pointed to an exquisite red and gold outfit.

"แต่มันน่าจะแพงนะ"

"But it looks expensive."

สมศักดิ์สัมผัสผ้าไหมและรู้สึกว่ามันนุ่มสบาย แต่ราคาที่เขาเห็นทำให้เขาหน้าเสีย

Somsak touched the silk and felt that it was soft and comfortable, but the price he saw made his face fall.

"มันไม่พอดีกับงบ ... แต่ผมชอบชุดนี้จริงๆ"

"It's beyond my budget... but I really like this outfit."

เขาหยุดคิดถึงการใช้จ่ายเกินกว่าที่ตั้งใจไว้ กับการถูกมองว่าไม่เข้ากับเทศกาลหากไม่เลือกชุดที่ทำให้ดูสมบูรณ์แบบ

He paused to think about spending more than he intended and the fear of not fitting in if he didn’t choose an outfit that looked perfect.

พิมแนะนำให้สมศักดิ์ลองเจรจากับพ่อค้า

Pim advised Somsak to try negotiating with the vendor.

"ลองต่อรองราคาดูสิ บางทีอาจจะช่วยได้" พิมยิ้มให้กำลังใจ

"Try bargaining, it might help," Pim smiled encouragingly.

หลังจากการเจรจา พ่อค้าตกลงลดราคาให้

After negotiating, the vendor agreed to lower the price.

สมศักดิ์รู้สึกโล่งใจและมีความสุข

Somsak felt relieved and happy.

"ขอบคุณพิม นิรันดร์ พวกนายช่วยชีวิตผมจริงๆ"

"Thank you, Pim, Niran, you guys really saved me."

เมื่อสมศักดิ์เดินออกจากร้านพร้อมกับชุดใหม่ เขารู้สึกมั่นใจและภูมิใจ

When Somsak walked out of the shop with his new outfit, he felt confident and proud.

เขานึกถึงการเข้าร่วมเทศกาลสงกรานต์กับเพื่อนๆ และความสุขที่จะได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของประเพณีที่รักของเขา

He thought about attending the Songkran Festival with his friends and the joy of being part of a beloved tradition.

"พร้อมแล้วล่ะ ไปฉีดน้ำกัน!" สมศักดิ์ตะโกนออกมาพร้อมเสียงหัวเราะ

"Ready! Let's go spray some water!" Somsak shouted with laughter.

บรรยากาศที่ตลาดเต็มไปด้วยความสดชื่นและความสุข เมื่อเขาเดินไปกับเพื่อน ๆ ในชุดไทยที่เขาภูมิใจ

The atmosphere at the market was full of freshness and joy as he walked with his friends in the Thai outfit he was proud of.

สมศักดิ์เรียนรู้ว่าการตัดสินใจที่ดีเกิดจากความกล้าหาญและเปิดใจกับสิ่งใหม่ ๆ

Somsak learned that good decisions come from courage and openness to new things.

เขาพร้อมจะสนุกกับเทศกาลสงกรานต์อย่างเต็มที่และมั่นใจว่าตัวเองจะเข้ากับพวกเพื่อนได้อย่างแน่นอน

He was ready to fully enjoy the Songkran Festival and was confident he would fit in with his friends perfectly.
