Tourists stroll around, admiring goods flanked by boats packed with fresh fruits and vegetables, including tempting sweets.

นีรันดร์และพิมชัยสองเพื่อนสนิทเดินกันไปตามตลาด

Niran and Pimchai, two close friends, wandered through the market.

หลังจากที่ได้ยินชื่อของข้าวเหนียวมะม่วงดังกระฉ่อน พวกเขามีภารกิจสำคัญวันนี้

After hearing the renowned name of khao niew mamuang, they had an important mission for today.

"เราจะต้องหาข้าวเหนียวมะม่วงที่ดีที่สุดในตลาดนี้ให้เจอ!" นีรันดร์กล่าวด้วยเสียงเต็มไปด้วยความมุ่งมั่น

"We must find the best khao niew mamuang in this market!" Niran declared with determination.

"We have to hurry before the market closes."

"Of course! We're ready to search every nook and cranny," replied Pimchai.

เขามาจากเมืองอื่น และนี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่เขาได้มาค้นหาของดีที่ตลาดน้ำ

He was from another city, and this was his first time searching for goodies at the floating market.

ทั้งสองเดินทางไปตามเรือต่าง ๆ

The two friends traveled along various boats.

ทุกที่ที่ไป พวกเขาถามหาข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง แต่คำตอบที่ได้ยินคือ "หมดแล้วค่ะ" หรือ "วันนี้ขายดีมาก"

Everywhere they went, they asked for khao niew mamuang, but the answers they heard were "It's sold out" or "It's been selling very well today."

However, Niran's determination did not waver.

นีรันดร์หยุดแล้วหันไปถามคนท้องถิ่นบางคน

Niran stopped and asked some locals.

They pointed out a few stalls that might still have khao niew mamuang.

The two began playing hide and seek behind food stalls, trying to spot where any khao niew mamuang was being made.

สุดท้าย เมื่อดวงอาทิตย์เริ่มลับขอบฟ้า ที่แผงหนึ่งบนเรือมีเสียงหอมหวลของข้าวเหนียวมะม่วงลอยออกมา

Finally, as the sun began to set, a pleasant aroma of khao niew mamuang drifted from a booth on a boat.

They saw a vendor arranging sticky rice and slicing fresh ripe mangoes.

Niran thought that sharing small joys with a friend made the fun even greater.

พิมชัยก็เช่นกัน

Pimchai felt the same.
