เช้าวันหนึ่งในฤดูแล้ง ความอบอุ่นของแสงแดดส่องผ่านหน้าต่างกระจกของสำนักงานสูงตระหง่านในใจกลางกรุงเทพฯ

One morning during the dry season, the warmth of the sunlight shone through the glass windows of a towering office in the heart of Krung Thep.

ผู้คนเริ่มเข้ามาที่ออฟฟิศ โดยวันนี้เป็นวันมาฆบูชา วันแห่งการทำบุญและทบทวนตนเอง

People started arriving at the office; today was Wan Makha Bucha, a day for merit-making and self-reflection.

แต่สำหรับสมชายวันนี้มีความพิเศษกว่านั้น

But for Somchai, today held a deeper significance.

สมชาย พนักงานออฟฟิศที่มีความทุ่มเท ทำงานอย่างเคร่งเครียดเพื่อต้องการให้ได้รับการยอมรับจากผู้บังคับบัญชาใหม่

Somchai, a dedicated office worker, was working diligently under a new superior, Preecha, whose personality many weren’t yet familiar with.

ในเช้าวันนี้ สมชายได้พบกระดาษโน้ตใบหนึ่งวางอยู่บนโต๊ะ ซึ่งมันไม่ได้อยู่ที่นั่นเมื่อเย็นวันก่อน

This morning, Somchai found a note on his desk that hadn’t been there the previous evening.

"ในกาลเวลาดอกไม้บาน สมชาย"

The note contained just a few lines of mysterious text: "In the time of blooming flowers, Somchai."

สมชายขมวดคิ้ว เขาไม่มั่นใจในความหมายของข้อความนี้ แต่เขารู้สึกว่ามันต้องมีอะไรบางอย่างซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับโปรเจคสำคัญที่กำลังเร่งด่วน

Somchai furrowed his brows, unsure of the note's meaning, yet he felt it was somehow connected to an urgent and important project.

สมชายคิดว่า ถ้าเขาสามารถไขความหมายของมันได้ อาจจะเป็นโอกาสที่ดีในการแสดงความสามารถให้ปรีชาเห็น

He thought that if he could uncover its meaning, it might be a great opportunity to showcase his ability to Preecha.

"นก ช่วยดูนี่หน่อย" สมชายพูดขึ้น เรียกนกเพื่อนร่วมงานที่มีความคิดวิเคราะห์ดีมาให้ช่วยกันคิด

"Nok, take a look at this," Somchai said, calling over Nok, a colleague with keen analytical skills, for assistance.

"ข้อความนี้มันหมายความว่ายังไงนะ?"

"What do you think this message means?"

นกพิจารณาโน้ตนั้นแล้วบอกว่า "มันฟังดูเหมือนรหัสหรือเงื่อนงำอะไรบางอย่างน่ะ สมชาย

Nok examined the note and said, "It sounds like some kind of code or clue, Somchai.

เราลองไปถามคนอื่นๆ ในออฟฟิศดูไหม เผื่อใครจะรู้เรื่องบ้าง"

Should we ask others in the office? Maybe someone knows something about it."

ทั้งสองตัดสินใจเริ่มการสืบสวนอย่างเงียบๆ เพราะไม่ต้องการให้คนอื่นรู้มากนัก

They agreed to quietly investigate, not wanting to stir curiosity among their peers.

สมชายและนกถามเพื่อนร่วมงานหลายคน แต่ไม่มีใครรู้เรื่องโน้ตนี้เลย

Somchai and Nok asked many colleagues, but no one had any knowledge of the note.

กระนั้นทั้งสองก็ไม่ยอมแพ้

However, they didn't give up.

จนกระทั่งในที่สุด สมชายก็นึกขึ้นได้ว่าเมื่อสองวันก่อนปรีชาได้พูดอะไรบางอย่างเกี่ยวกับ "ดอกไม้บาน" ซึ่งอาจจะเป็นกุญแจสำคัญ

Finally, Somchai recalled that two days prior, Preecha had mentioned something about "blooming flowers," which might be crucial.

เขาจึงรีบไปที่ห้องของปรีชา

He hastened to Preecha's office.

"ขอโทษครับ คุณปรีชา ผมพบโน้ตนี้บนโต๊ะ

"Excuse me, Khun Preecha, I found this note on my desk.

ไม่ทราบว่าเกี่ยวข้องกับดอกไม้บานที่พูดถึงกับโปรเจคของเราหรือเปล่าครับ?" สมชายกลั้นใจถาม

Could it be related to the ‘blooming flowers’ you mentioned in connection with our project?" Somchai asked hesitantly.

ปรีชาหัวเราะเบาๆ และตอบกลับว่า "จริงๆ แล้ว โน้ตนั้นเป็นเพียงคำใบ้อน่ารักๆ เพื่อให้สมชายคิดและเชื่อมั่นในตนเองยิ่งขึ้น

Preecha chuckled softly and replied, "Actually, the note was just a cute little clue to encourage Somchai to think and have more confidence in himself.

โน้ตนั้นถือเป็นหัวใจของโปรเจค

That note embodies the essence of the project.

ถ้าคุณเข้าใจได้ คุณจะทำโปรเจคได้ดีแน่นอน"

If you understand it, you'll definitely excel at the project."

สมชายยิ้ม

Somchai smiled.

สุดท้ายแล้วสิ่งที่เขาค้นหามันไม่ใช่ข้อความลับอะไร แต่เป็นเรื่องของความมั่นใจในตนเองและความร่วมมือกับผู้อื่นที่ทำให้โปรเจคสำเร็จได้

What he had been seeking wasn’t a secret message but rather the belief in his own capabilities and collaboration with others, which would lead the project to success.

ด้วยความช่วยเหลือจากนก สมชายสามารถไขปริศนาและเรียนรู้ที่จะเชื่อในสัญชาตญาณของตนเอง

With Nok's help, Somchai was able to solve the riddle and learned to trust his instincts.
