One cold morning at an international school in Chiang Mai, Athit and Kanya, a brother and sister, felt a lonely atmosphere amidst the remaining students who hadn't returned home for the Chinese New Year.

This was the first year they had to be away from their family due to their parents' divorce.

Every year, the Chinese New Year is a festival when students go home to meet their families, but this year Athit and Kanya had to stay at the school.

อาทิตย์มองดูน้องสาวของเขา กัญญา เป็นคนมองโลกในแง่ดีเสมอ

Athit looked at his sister, Kanya, who was always optimistic.

She smiled and chatted cheerfully with friends, even though deep down she missed her home and family.

Athit wanted to make this Chinese New Year special for his sister.

He knew the school had strict rules about celebrating, but he had a secret plan.

อาทิตย์ตัดสินใจเดินรอบโรงเรียนเพื่อคุยกับนักเรียนคนอื่นๆ ที่อยู่ที่นี่

Athit decided to walk around the school to talk with other students staying there.

เขาเสนอแผนให้ทุกคนรวมตัวกันเพื่อจัดงานเล็กๆ ในห้องนั่งเล่นนักเรียน

He proposed a plan for everyone to gather for a small event in the student lounge.

That night, they gathered snacks from various places and acquired a few items from friends who were willing to help.

Athit saw Kanya smile, and he felt satisfied.

They didn’t forget to be cautious not to let the teachers find out.

แต่ในตอนนั้น ครูเดินเข้ามา

But then, a teacher walked in.

ทุกคนเงียบกริบ

Everyone fell silent.

อาทิตย์เริ่มใจคอไม่ดี แต่ครูเห็นความสุขในสายตาของนักเรียนและยิ้มอย่างอบอุ่น

Athit began to feel uneasy, but the teacher saw the happiness in the students' eyes and smiled warmly.

"เอาล่ะ ครั้งนี้ฉันจะไม่พูดอะไร เพราะมันเป็นเรื่องที่ดีมาก ที่คุณทำให้เพื่อนๆ รู้สึกไม่เหงา"

"Alright then, I won't say anything this time because it's a wonderful thing that you've done to make your friends not feel lonely."

ตรุษจีนปีนั้นจบลงด้วยความทรงจำดีๆ

That Chinese New Year ended with beautiful memories.

อาทิตย์ได้เรียนรู้ว่า การเสี่ยงเพื่อทำให้คนที่เรารักมีความสุขและความกล้าหาญในการจัดการสายสัมพันธ์ เป็นสิ่งที่มีค่า

Athit learned that taking risks to make those we love happy and courageously managing relationships is invaluable.

สำหรับกัญญาและอาทิตย์ การที่พวกเขาอยู่ด้วยกันและสร้างความทรงจำใหม่ยิ่งทำให้ความอบอุ่นในใจเกิดขึ้น โดยไม่รู้ตัว โรงเรียนกลายเป็นสถานที่ที่พวกเขารู้สึกเหมือนบ้านมากขึ้นอีกนิด

For Kanya and Athit, being together and creating new memories added warmth to their hearts, and unknowingly, the school became a place that felt a bit more like home.
