ในค่ำคืนที่หนาวเย็นหนึ่งที่สวนลุมพินี กรุงเทพฯ ผู้คนต่างมากันอย่างคึกคักเพื่อซึมซับบรรยากาศแห่งเทศกาลส่งท้ายปีเก่า

On one cold night at Suan Lumphini in Bangkok, people gathered excitedly to soak up the atmosphere of the New Year festival.

ไฟประดับระยิบระยับตามต้นไม้ ส่องแสงให้สวนแห่งนี้ดูสวยงามยิ่งขึ้น

The twinkling lights on the trees illuminated the park, making it look even more beautiful.

นิรันดร์ หนุ่มขี้อายยืนอยู่ใกล้ๆ กับมัณฑนาที่ป้ายประตูเข้าสวน

Niran, a shy young man, stood near Muntana at the entrance of the park.

เขารู้สึกตื่นเต้นและประหม่าในเวลาเดียวกัน

He felt excited and nervous at the same time.

วันนี้เป็นวันที่เขานัดเจอกับพิมเป็นครั้งแรก

Today was the first time he had arranged to meet Pim.

นิรันดร์รู้ตัวว่าเขามีความรู้สึกพิเศษกับพิมมานาน แต่เป็นเพราะความไม่มั่นใจและความอาย ทำให้เขาไม่เคยสารภาพความในใจออกมา

Niran had long realized he had special feelings for Pim, but due to his lack of confidence and shyness, he never confessed his feelings.

แต่วันนี้เขามากับอนันดาเพื่อนสนิทที่คอยให้กำลังใจเขาเสมอ

But today, he came with Ananda, a close friend who always encouraged him.

"นิรันดร์ นายดูดีมาก!" อนันดาพูดอย่างมั่นใจ

"Niran, you look great!" Ananda said confidently.

"พิมชอบความจริงใจ นายเป็นคนที่ใช่สำหรับเธอ"

"Pim likes sincerity, you're the one for her."

นิรันดร์ยิ้มแล้วพยักหน้าช้าๆ เดินไปหาพิมที่ยืนรอเขาอยู่

Niran smiled and nodded slowly, walking toward Pim, who was waiting for him.

ที่ทางเดินมีคนมากมายเดินไปมา เขามองหาจังหวะที่จะพูดคุยอย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ

There were many people passing by on the path, and he was looking for a natural moment to start a conversation.

"สวัสดีพิม" นิรันดร์ทักอย่างเขินอาย

"Hello, Pim," said Niran shyly.

"อากาศเย็นดีเนอะ" เขาเริ่มด้วยหัวข้อปลอดภัย

"The weather is quite nice, isn't it?" He began with a safe topic.

"ใช่ค่ะ เย็นๆ แบบนี้เดินในสวนสบายดีนะคะ" พิมตอบด้วยรอยยิ้มอันอบอุ่น

"Yes, it's nice and cool for a walk in the park," Pim replied with a warm smile.

ทั้งสองเดินไปด้วยกัน ชมไฟประดับและฟังเสียงเพลงเบาๆ จากลำโพงที่เปิดข้างทาง

The two walked together, admiring the lights and listening to the soft music playing from speakers along the way.

ทุกอย่างเหมือนรอบๆ ตัวมีแต่ความสดใส แต่ใจของนิรันดร์ยังคงประหม่าไม่เปลี่ยน

Everything around them seemed bright, but Niran's heart was still quite nervous.

เมื่อนิรันดร์และพิมเดินมาถึงริมทะเลสาบที่มีไฟระยิบระยับรอบๆ นิรันดร์รู้สึกว่าเป็นเวลาที่เหมาะสม

When Niran and Pim reached the lakeside, surrounded by twinkling lights, Niran felt it was the right moment.

เขาหยุดเดินแล้วหันกลับมาหาพิม

He stopped walking and turned to Pim.

"พิม..." เขาพูดด้วยเสียงสั่นนิดหน่อย

"Pim..." he said with a slight tremble in his voice.

"ผมอยากให้คุณรู้ว่าผมชื่นชอบความน่ารักและความเป็นกันเองของคุณมานานแล้ว

"I want you to know that I've admired your sweetness and friendliness for a long time.

ผมรู้สึกดีใจที่เรากำลังจะได้ทำความรู้จักกันมากขึ้น"

I'm glad we're getting to know each other better."

พิมยิ้มและมองตานิรันดร์ด้วยสายตาอบอุ่น

Pim smiled and looked into Niran's eyes with warmth.

"ขอบคุณนะคะนิรันดร์ ฉันก็รู้สึกเช่นเดียวกันค่ะ"

"Thank you, Niran. I feel the same way."

ทั้งสองจับมือกันเงียบๆ พร้อมกับสัญญาว่าจะมีโอกาสพบกันอีกบ่อยๆ

They held hands quietly, promising to meet again often.

บรรยากาศเย็นๆ และแสงไฟที่ส่องสว่างจากต้นไม้รอบๆ ทำให้นิรันดร์รู้สึกมั่นใจและมีความหวังใหม่ในการเดินหน้าให้ถึงวันข้างหน้า

The cool atmosphere and the lights shining from the surrounding trees made Niran feel confident and hopeful for the future.

มีเพียงเสียงหัวเราะและความสุขที่ปลายทาง

นิรันดร์พบแล้วว่า การเปิดใจจริง ๆ นั้นนำพาความสุขที่แท้จริงมาให้เขาเสมอ
