At the Chatuchak Market in Bangkok, the place was filled with hope and joy.

อาทิตย์เดินทางมากับศิริและพัชระ

Arthit had traveled there with Siri and Patchara.

เขาชอบตลาดและเสียงคนพูดคุยรอบตัว

He loved the market and the sound of people chatting around him.

อาทิตย์เป็นคนร่าเริงและมีใจรักการผจญภัย แต่ความลับของเขาคือการสะสมเป็ดเหลือง

Arthit was cheerful and loved adventures, but his secret was collecting yellow ducks.

วันนี้อากาศร้อน ฟ้าสดใส

Today the weather was hot, with a clear sky.

ขณะที่อาทิตย์เดินผ่านแผงขายของมากมาย สายตาของเขาก็มาหยุดอยู่ที่แผงขายเป็ดเหลืองที่ข้างหน้า

As Arthit walked past many stalls, his eyes stopped at the stall in front selling yellow ducks.

เป็ดมีหลากหลายแบบให้เลือก ทั้งเป็ดใส่หมวก เป็ดยักษ์ แต่สิ่งที่ดึงดูดใจที่สุดคือเป็ดที่มีพิ้งค์โบว์ผูกไว้ที่หัว

There were various types of ducks to choose from, including those with hats and giant ducks, but the most captivating of all was a duck with a pink bow tied on its head.

อาทิตย์ยืมตัวเข้าไปในแผงค้าเพื่อดูใกล้ ๆ

Arthit leaned into the stall to get a closer look.

เขาจับเป็ดแล้วหัวเราะ

He held a duck and laughed.

ทันใดนั้นเอง ประตูแผงค้าถูกลมพัดปิดเสียงดัง "โครม!" ทำให้อาทิตย์ติดอยู่ข้างใน

Suddenly, the stall door was slammed shut by the wind with a "bang!" leaving Arthit trapped inside.

เขาหายใจลึก ๆ

He took a deep breath.

"ไม่นะ!" เขาพูดกับตัวเองแต่มองไปรอบ ๆ พบว่าเขาไม่ได้อยู่คนเดียว

"Oh no!" he murmured to himself but found he was not alone.

เพื่อนเป็ดหลายร้อยตัวกำลังจ้องมาที่เขา

Hundreds of duck friends were staring at him.

อาทิตย์หัวเราะในใจแล้วคิด "ต้องทำอะไรสักอย่างแล้ว"

Arthit laughed to himself and thought, "I have to do something."

เขาเริ่มร้องเพลงเลียนเสียงเป็ด "แคว่กๆๆ" หวังว่าจะมีใครได้ยิน

He began to quack like a duck, "Quack, quack," hoping someone would hear.

เวลาผ่านไปไม่นาน มีคนเดินผ่านหน้ามือหาวอากาศ

Not long after, someone walked by yawning.

อาทิตย์ตะโกน "แคว่ก! แคว่ก!"

Arthit shouted "Quack! Quack!"

คนเดินผ่านที่ชื่อมะลินึกว่าเป็ดทำเสียง

The passerby, named Mali, thought it was the ducks making the noise.

เธอมองเข้าไปเห็นอาทิตย์ท่าทางตลก

She looked in and saw Arthit in a funny position.

เธอหัวเราะแล้วยื่นมือไปเปิดประตูให้อาทิตย์ออกมา

She laughed and reached out to open the door for him to come out.

ข้างนอก ศิริและพัชระกำลังรออยู่

Outside, Siri and Patchara were waiting.

เมื่อเห็นอาทิตย์ออกมา พวกเขาหัวเราะด้วยความรู้สึกที่ดี

When they saw Arthit emerge, they laughed heartily.

อาทิตย์ยกเป็ดเหลืองด้วยท่าทางชัยชนะ

Arthit held up the yellow duck triumphantly.

“ได้แล้ว!” อาทิตย์พูดอย่างสุขใจ

"Got it!" Arthit said happily.

เขาเรียนรู้แล้วว่า การจะก้าวหน้าในสถานการณ์ที่ไม่คาดคิดต้องใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์และความรู้สึกอารมณ์ขัน

He had learned that progressing in unexpected situations requires creativity and a sense of humor.

เพื่อนๆ ของเขายิ้มและพูดว่า “อาทิตย์ นายไม่เคยทำให้เราเบื่อจริงๆ!”

His friends smiled and said, "Arthit, you never make us bored!"

แล้วพวกเขาก็เดินกลับเข้าไปในตลาดต่อไปด้วยกันกับเพื่อนใหม่ของพวกเขา – เป็ดเหลืองผูกโบว์พิ้งค์

Then they all walked back into the market together with their new friend – the yellow duck with the pink bow.
