Mateja in Gregor sta stala ob njem.

Anže je osredotočeno gledal skozi objektiv.

Potem pa je nenadoma nekaj zagledal.

Then he suddenly noticed something.

Na robu travnika je stala lisica.

At the edge of the meadow stood a fox.

Njene oči so se svetile v jutranji svetlobi.

Its eyes glistened in the morning light.

"Lisica!" je vzkliknil Gregor, rahlo prestrašen.

"A fox!" exclaimed Gregor, slightly frightened.

"Bežimo!"

"Let's run!"

Ampak Anže je bil očaran.

But Anže was captivated.

Pogled lisice je bil poln skrivnosti in nežnosti.

The fox's gaze was full of mystery and gentleness.

Ravno ko je nameraval pritisniti na sprožilec, je opazil, da lisica šepa.

Just as he was about to press the shutter, he noticed the fox was limping.

Bila je poškodovana.

It was injured.

"Spoštuj živali, pusti jo," je rekel Gregor, a Anže se ni premaknil.

"Respect the animals, leave it," said Gregor, but Anže didn't move.

Čutil je dilemo.

Mateja, odvzeta od poguma, je rekla: "Pomagaj ji, Anže."

Mateja, driven by courage, said, "Help it, Anže."

Lisica je pogledala Anžeta naravnost v oči.

The fox looked Anže straight in the eyes.

V tistem trenutku je Anže spoznal, kaj mora storiti.

Pomagal je lisici do bližnjega zavetišča, kjer so lahko poskrbeli zanjo.

He helped the fox to a nearby shelter, where they could care for it.

Ko sta se z Matejo in Gregorjem vračala, je Anže občutil nenavadno mirnost.

As he walked back with Mateja and Gregor, Anže felt an unusual calm.

Fotografskega trenutka je bil sicer prikrajšan, a našel je nekaj večjega.

He had missed the photographic moment, but he found something greater.
