Jesenski veter, ki je vrtel rjavkasto listje po zraku, se je soočil s toplim vonjem domačega slovenskega podeželja.

The autumn wind, swirling brownish leaves through the air, met the warm scent of the Slovenian countryside.

Kje drugje kot v osrčju vasi, kjer stoji stari kozolec, bi lahko Miran zbral pogum, da osvoji srce Nine?

Where else but in the heart of the village, where the old kozolec stands, could Miran gather the courage to win Nina's heart?

Miran in Luka sta zjutraj prispevala na kraj, kjer se je pravkar začelo prebujati življenje.

Miran and Luka arrived in the morning at the place where life was just beginning to awaken.

Kozolec je bil okrašen z naravno paleto jesenskih barv.

The kozolec was adorned with a natural palette of autumn colors.

Na enim koncu je viselo koruzno klasje, na drugem so bile zložene stare trte.

"Nina bo navdušena," je Miran samozavestno rekel, medtem ko je postavljal majhen prenosni kuhalnik na tla pod kozolcem.
