Jesen se je razbohotila nad Blejskim jezerom, drevesa so žarela v živahnih oranžnih in rdečih barvah.

Autumn had spread its glory over Blejsko jezero, the trees blazing with vibrant oranges and reds.

Voda v jezeru je bila mirna, le tu in tam jo je motil kak majhen valček, ko je lahka sapica zapihala čez gladino.

The water in the lake was calm, only occasionally disturbed by a small ripple when a light breeze blew across the surface.

Gregor je stal na robu potke, ki jo je že stokrat prehodil, in gledal to lepoto.

Gregor stood at the edge of the path he had walked a hundred times before, gazing at this beauty.

Ob njem je stala njegova sestra Nina, ki je prvič obiskala Slovenijo po dolgih letih življenja v tujini.

Next to him was his sister Nina, who was visiting Slovenia for the first time after many years of living abroad.

Luka, Gregorjev najboljši prijatelj, je počasi hodil za njima, vedno pozoren na pot in načrte.

Luka, Gregor's best friend, walked slowly behind them, always attentive to the path and plans.

Včasih se je Gregorju zdelo, da je Luka kar preveč previden, a danes ga je veselilo, da je z njim.

Sometimes Gregor thought Luka was a bit too cautious, but today he was glad to have him along.

Zbrali so se za poseben pohod, da bi pokazali Nini čudovit razgled z enega od okoliških vrhov.

They had gathered for a special hike to show Nina the stunning view from one of the surrounding peaks.

"Ne morem verjeti, kako je tukaj lepo," je rekla Nina, očarana nad pokrajino.

"I can't believe how beautiful it is here," said Nina, enchanted by the landscape.

"Nič še nisi videla," ji je odvrnil Gregor s pomenljivim nasmeškom.

"You haven't seen anything yet," replied Gregor with a significant smile.

"Počakaj, da prideva do vrha.

"Wait until we reach the top."

"A pot naenkrat ni bila več lepa in gladka.

But suddenly, the path was no longer beautiful and smooth.

Stezica je postajala vse bolj strma in kamnita.

The trail was becoming steeper and rockier.

Nenadoma, ko je Nina želela preskočiti manjšo skalo, ji je spodrsnilo.

All of a sudden, when Nina tried to jump over a small rock, she slipped.

Padla je s krikom bolečine.

She fell with a cry of pain.

"Moj gleženj!

"My ankle!"

" je vzdihnila, se zvijala na tleh.

she gasped, writhing on the ground.

Luka je bil takoj ob njej, sklonjen, da bi ji pomagal.

Luka was immediately by her side, bending down to help her.

Gregor je bil pretresen, srce mu je hitro bilo.

Gregor was shocked, his heart racing.

Svet okrog njega je nenadoma postal nevaren.

The world around him suddenly felt dangerous.

"Nočem izgubiti časa," je rekel Gregor Luku.

"I don't want to waste time," Gregor said to Luka.

"Ti ostani z Nino.

"You stay with Nina.

Jaz grem po pomoč.

I'll go for help."

"Pohitel je nazaj po poti, misli so mu dirjale.

He hurried back down the path, thoughts racing.

Naj pokliče reševalce?

Should he call rescuers?

Ali bo našel koga blizu, ki bi lahko takoj pomagal?

Would he find someone nearby who could help immediately?

Med tekom je zagledal skupino domačinov, ki so se ravno podajali na isto pot.

While running, he spotted a group of locals who were just setting out on the same path.

"Potrebujem pomoč," je zadihano rekel, komaj uspel povedati svoja prošnja.

"I need help," he said breathlessly, barely managing to articulate his request.

"Moja sestra se je poškodovala.

"My sister is injured."

"Eden izmed moških je imel s seboj prvo pomoč in vsi skupaj so hitro krenili nazaj do Nine in Luke.

One of the men had a first aid kit with him, and they all quickly headed back to Nina and Luka.

Skupaj so ji oskrbeli gleženj.

Together, they tended to her ankle.

"Se počutiš bolje?

"Do you feel better?"

" jo je nežno vprašal Gregor.

Gregor gently asked her.

Nina je kljub bolečini prikimala.

Despite the pain, Nina nodded.

"Hvala vsem," je rekla hvaležno.

"Thank you, everyone," she said gratefully.

Počasi in previdno so se vsi skupaj vrnili po poti nazaj, kjer so lahko poiskali dodatno zdravniško pomoč.

Slowly and carefully, they all made their way back down the path to seek additional medical assistance.

Gregor je bil hvaležen za hitro pomoč domačinov, a še bolj je spoznal, da mora biti na prihodnjih pohodih bolj previden in razumen.

Gregor was thankful for the quick help from the locals, but he also realized he must be more careful and prudent on future hikes.

Avantura je pomembna, a varnost ima svojo vrednost.

Adventure is important, but safety holds its value.

Razglasil je: "Naslednjič bom še bolj pripravljen.

He declared, "Next time, I'll be even more prepared."

"Luka se je v smehu strinjal.

Luka laughed and agreed.

"In jaz bom še naprej skrbno spremljal tvoje načrte.

"And I'll continue to carefully watch your plans."

"Šlo je za dan, poln lekcij, a s srečnim koncem, ki so ga vsi trije hranili kot dragocen spomin na jesenski izlet k Blejskemu jezeru.

It was a day full of lessons but with a happy ending, which all three treasured as a precious memory of their autumn trip to Blejsko jezero.
