There was a scent of mushrooms and damp earth in the air, just right for Mateja, Anže, and Tadeja to set off on their mushroom picking adventure.

"Pravila sem o skrivnem mestu polnem gob," je veselo rekla Mateja, ki je držala zemljevid in si prizadevala, da bi vodila skupino.

"I read about a secret spot full of mushrooms," said Mateja cheerfully, holding a map and trying to lead the group.

"Are you sure you know where we're going?"

"It'll be fun," added Tadeja with a laugh, enthusiastic about exploring the beautiful nature.

Rada se je pustila odnesti zanimivim pogledom in skrivnostnim stezam.

She loved getting carried away by interesting sights and mysterious paths.

Skupaj so hodili globlje v gozd, Mateja je bila prepričana, da ji občutek nudi pravi kompas.

Together they walked deeper into the forest, with Mateja confident that her sense of direction was the true compass.

Svetloba se je začela hitro spreminjati, listje je zašumelo pod nogami.

The light began to change quickly, leaves rustled underfoot.

Mateja se je trudila najti smer, a le osupljivo hitro izgubila sled poti.

Mateja struggled to find the direction but astonishingly quickly lost the trail.

"Se še spomniš, kje smo prišli?

"Do you remember where we came from?"

" je nestrpno vprašal Anže, ko so bili že pošteno znotraj gozda in ni bilo več sledi poti, s katere so prišli.

asked Anže impatiently, as they were already deep in the woods with no trace of the path they had come from.

"Seveda, samo še malo naprej," je Mateja vztrajno trdila, čeprav njena samozavest ni več prevladovala.

"Of course, just a bit further," Mateja insisted, although her confidence was waning.

Anže je pogledal na uro in pomislil na izgubo dnevne svetlobe.

Anže looked at his watch and thought about the loss of daylight.

Medtem se Tadeja ni zmenila za njuno rahlo zaskrbljenost in se je raje zatopila v lepote parka, občudovala mah, ki se je skoraj svetlikal na deblih, in prisluhnila pticam.

Meanwhile, Tadeja paid no attention to their slight worry and instead was absorbed in the park's beauty, admiring the moss that almost glowed on the trunks and listening to the birds.

"Nekje tu mora biti pot nazaj," je modroval Anže in predlagal slediti potoku nazaj do izhodišča.

"There must be a way back somewhere here," mused Anže and suggested following the stream back to the starting point.

A Mateja je imela drugačen načrt.

But Mateja had a different plan.

"Plezala bom na to drevo, da vidim, kje sploh smo," je predlagala in že začela plezati brez oklevanja.

"I'll climb this tree to see where we are," she proposed and started climbing without hesitation.

Ko pa je dosegla vrh, je nenadoma zarobantila.

But when she reached the top, she suddenly shouted.

"Ne, zataknila sem se," se je slišal njen glas, pomešan s tihim šelestenjem listja.

"No, I'm stuck," her voice was heard, mingled with the quiet rustling of leaves.

Anže in Tadeja sta se smejala njenemu zapletenemu položaju, a hitro sta poskušala najti način, kako jo spraviti dol.

Anže and Tadeja laughed at her predicament but quickly tried to find a way to get her down.

Po nekaj neuspelih poskusih, je bilo končno uspešno in Mateja je pristala nazaj na varnem tleh s pogledom, ki je izražal rahlo zadrego.

After a few failed attempts, they finally succeeded, and Mateja landed safely back on the ground with a slightly embarrassed look.

Na koncu so se odločili poslušati Tadejo, ki je predlagala slediti zvoku oddaljenega hrupa ceste.

In the end, they decided to listen to Tadeja, who suggested they follow the sound of the distant road noise.

Po nekaj minutah hoje, so naleteli na pot, ki jih je vodila nazaj do izhodišča.

After a few minutes of walking, they came across a path that led them back to the starting point.

Ko so sedeli v avtu, Mateja ni mogla drugače kot priznati: "Mogoče pa res ne znam vedno najbolje voditi.

As they sat in the car, Mateja couldn't help but admit: "Maybe I'm not always the best at leading."

""Ne skrbi, dogodivščine so zabavne," je rekel Anže in se nasmehnil.

"Don't worry, adventures are fun," said Anže with a smile.

"Ja, in danes je bilo prav tako popoldne, ki ga ne bomo pozabili," je dodala Tadeja, vesela zaradi preživete dogodivščine s prijateljema.

"Yeah, and today was definitely an afternoon we won't forget," added Tadeja, pleased with the adventure spent with her friends.

Tako so se vrnili domov, polni zgodb, ki jih bodo lahko delili ob hladnih jesenskih večerih in s spoznanjem, da ne potrebujejo vedno načrta, da bi doživeli čudovito dogodivščino.

They returned home full of stories to share on chilly autumn evenings and with the realization that they don't always need a plan to experience a wonderful adventure.
