"Nejc, počasi," reče in gleda brata.

Nejc se ustavi in pogleda Majo.

"Maja, are you sure this is wise? Father is always secretive about the past."

Maja se nasmehne.

"Moramo izvedeti resnico. Če najina polsestra obstaja, jo moramo spoznati."

"We need to find out the truth. If our half-sister exists, we need to meet her."

Ljubljanski grad jih pričaka s svojo veličastnostjo.

Visoke stolpe krasi živobarvno listje, okenska stekla nosijo prah preteklosti.

Sprehodita se po grajskih hodnikih in prisluhneta šepetu starodavnih zgodb, ki se skrivajo med kamnitimi zidovi.

"Kam gremo najprej?" vpraša Nejc.

"Where do we go first?" Nejc asks.

"Knjižnica," odgovori Maja trdno.

"The library," Maja answers firmly.

"Oče je tam večkrat preživljal čas."

"Father spent a lot of time there."

Vstopita v staro knjižnico.

They enter the old library.

Police so do stropa, polne starih knjig in dokumentov.

Shelves reach up to the ceiling, full of old books and documents.

Maja začne brskati med mapami.

Maja starts searching through the folders.

"Tukaj mora biti nekaj."

"There must be something here."

Po dolgem iskanju Nejc opazi nekaj nenavadnega.

After a long search, Nejc notices something unusual.

"Maja, poglej to."

"Maja, look at this."

V rokah drži pisma, stara in nekoliko porumenela.

He holds letters, old and somewhat yellowed.

Črke so očitno pisane z nenavadnim, a znanim rokopisom.

The handwriting is unusual yet familiar.

"To je očetov rokopis," šepne Maja.

"This is our father's handwriting," Maja whispers.

"Pisala so o njegovi mladosti in... najini polsestri."

"They're about his youth and... our half-sister."

Pisma razkrijejo zgodbe o očetovih preteklih ljubeznih in o skrivni hčeri, ki so jo držali v senci.
