Prišli so na ta pomladni oddih, da se malce odmaknejo od vsakodnevnih skrbi.

They had come on this spring getaway to escape everyday worries a bit.

A zdaj so imeli novo težavo – izginila je tista dragocena družinska dediščina.

But now they had a new problem – the precious family heirloom had disappeared.

»Kje pa bi lahko bila?« je spraševal Jure, medtem ko je gledal proti cerkvici na otoku.

"Where could it be?" asked Jure, while looking toward the church on the island.

Bil je mlad in radoveden, vedno je želel vedeti več o svoji družini in njenih zakladih.

He was young and curious, always wanting to know more about his family and its treasures.

Mojca, ki je stala ob njem, je bila previdna in natančna.

Mojca, who stood next to him, was cautious and precise.

»Mogoče smo kaj spregledali,« je rekla, ko je s pogledom premerila okolico.

"Maybe we missed something," she said, scanning the surroundings with her eyes.

Tomaž pa, z nasmehom na obrazu, se ni zdel tako zaskrbljen.

However, Tomaž, with a smile on his face, didn't seem so worried.

Rad je pripovedoval zgodbe in pogosto je dodajal pridih skrivnosti.

He loved to tell stories and often added a touch of mystery.

»Poglejmo, kje smo bili sinoči,« je predlagal.

"Let's look at where we were last night," he suggested.

S tal so vzeli stare gumijaste škornje in začeli slediti svojim stopinjam.

They took the old rubber boots from the ground and began to follow their tracks.

Hodili so mimo krčme, skozi gozd, vse do jezera in nazaj.

They walked past the tavern, through the forest, all the way to the lake and back.

Na Mostec so prišli, kjer so pred dnevi veslali po jezeru.

They reached Mostec, where they had rowed on the lake a few days ago.

Tam so našli stari čoln.

There they found an old boat.

»Tukaj je nekaj narobe,« je rekel Jure, ko je opazil rahlo dvignjeno dno čolna.

"Something is wrong here," said Jure, noticing a slightly raised bottom of the boat.

Potegnil je leseno kljuko in razkrilo se je polje skrivnosti.

He pulled a wooden latch, and a field of mysteries was revealed.

Tam je bila. Njegova babičina starinska zlata zapestnica.

There it was: his grandmother's antique gold bracelet.

»Več kot eno skrivališče,« je šaljivo pripomnil Tomaž.

"More than one hiding place," joked Tomaž.

»Kot v kateri od mojih zgodb.«

"Just like in one of my stories."

Jure je pogledal prijatelje.

Jure looked at his friends.

»Hvala vama.

"Thank you both.

Ne bi mogel tega najti brez vas.«

I couldn't have found this without you."

Prvič je spoznal, kako pomembno je zaupati prijateljem in delati skupaj.

For the first time, he realized how important it is to trust friends and work together.

Vsi trije so se strinjali, da morajo dediščino vrniti Juretovi družini in shraniti zgodbo za prihodnje generacije.

All three agreed that they must return the heirloom to Jure's family and save the story for future generations.

Ta pot je krepko utrdila njihovo prijateljstvo.

This journey had greatly strengthened their friendship.

Blejsko jezero je bilo spet mirno.

Blejsko Lake was calm again.
