"Mateja, drživa se seznama," reče, ko skupaj hodita med stojnicami.

"Mateja, let's stick to the list," he says as they walk together among the stalls.

Njegov seznam je kot zemljevid, ki vodi do popolnega dogodka.

His list is like a map, leading to the perfect event.

Vse mora biti urejeno.

Everything must be organized.

Gregor je napet, a osredotočen.

Gregor is tense but focused.

Mateja pa je drugačna.

Mateja, however, is different.

Gleda okoli z radovednostjo.

She looks around with curiosity.

"Poglej te sveže gozdne sadeže!" vzklikne in kazalec pokaže na stojnice, ki Gregorju niso bile na seznamu.

"Look at these fresh forest fruits!" she exclaims, pointing at stalls that weren't on Gregor's list.

"Pa lokalni sir, to moramo poskusiti!"

"And the local cheese, we must try it!"

Gregor poskuša ostati pri načrtu.

Gregor tries to stick to the plan.

"Mateja, nimava časa. Potrebujem paradižnike, solato..." govori hitro.

"Mateja, we don't have time. I need tomatoes, lettuce..." he speaks quickly.

Mateja pa ga pelje k stojnici z domačimi marmeladami.

But Mateja leads him to a stall with homemade jams.

"Poskusi to, morda bo dobra za kruh."

"Try this one, it might be good for the bread."

Medtem ko se Gregor pogovori z Matejinim navdušenjem, mu ponesreči pade seznam v bližnji vodnjak.

As Gregor is negotiating with Mateja's enthusiasm, he accidentally drops the list into a nearby well.

"Ne, moj seznam!" se oglasi z obupom.

"No, my list!" he cries out in despair.

Voda je njegov načrt razpustila.

The water has dissolved his plan.

Mateja se zasmeje, a vidi njegovo zaskrbljenost.

Mateja laughs but sees his concern.

"Brezzveze, Gregor," ga pomirja.

"No worries, Gregor," she reassures him.

"Sledi srcu, ne seznamu."

"Follow your heart, not the list."

Gregor prvič spusti svoj načrt.

For the first time, Gregor lets go of his plan.

"Prav," vdihne globoko.

"Alright," he takes a deep breath.

Skupaj se začneta sprehajati po tržnici brez skrbi.

Together, they start strolling through the market without worries.

Kupita sveže kruhke, zelišča, lokalni med... vse, kar pritegne oko ali nos.

They buy fresh rolls, herbs, local honey... everything that catches the eye or nose.

Ko prideta domov, napolnjena z novimi stvarmi, Mateja pripravi solato s svežo baziliko, ki je ne bi našla na seznamu, in naredita pladenj z različnimi siri in marmelado.

When they get home, filled with new things, Mateja prepares a salad with fresh basil that wouldn’t have been found on the list, and they make a platter with different cheeses and jam.

Družinsko srečanje uspe več, kot je Gregor pričakoval.

The family gathering turns out better than Gregor expected.
