Ljudje so sedeli in klepetali, in v zraku je bil smeh ter vonj po sveže mleti kavi.

People sat and chatted, with laughter and the scent of freshly ground coffee in the air.

Anže sedel za okroglo mizo blizu oken, kjer se je najbolj svež zrak prepletel z vonjem cvetlic.

Anže sat at a round table near the windows, where the freshest air mingled with the scent of flowers.

Skozi vrata je v kavarno vstopila Eva.

Through the door, Eva entered the café.

Anže je začutil, kako mu srce hitreje bije.

Anže's heart began to beat faster.

Eva je bila lepa in nasmejana.

Eva was beautiful and smiling.

Nositila je rumeno obleko, ki se je skladala z njenim nasmehom in sončnim vzdušjem dneva.

She wore a yellow dress that matched her smile and the sunny atmosphere of the day.

"Živjo, Anže," je pozdravila, ko je sedla nasproti njega.

"Hello, Anže," she greeted as she sat across from him.

"Živjo, Eva," je odgovoril Anže in se poskušal sproščeno nasmehniti.

"Hello, Eva," Anže replied, trying to smile casually.

A roke so mu rahlo tresle.

But his hands trembled slightly.

"Uhhh... lepo je tu, a ne?"

"Uhhh... it's nice here, isn't it?"

"Je, zelo lepo je," se je strinjala Eva in premerila mesto z očmi.

"It is, it's very nice," Eva agreed, scanning the place with her eyes.

"Nikoli nisem bila tukaj prej."

"I've never been here before."

Anže je želel reči nekaj duhovitega, vendar so se besede izgubljale v njegovi glavi.

Anže wanted to say something witty, but the words got lost in his head.

Poskusil je slediti pogovoru, ko je neuspešno poskušal ujeti pozornost natakarja.

He tried to follow the conversation while unsuccessfully attempting to catch the waiter's attention.

Na koncu mu je uspelo naročiti dve ledeni kavi.

Finally, he managed to order two iced coffees.

Medtem ko je natakar prinašal pijače, je Anže poskušal spreobrniti svojo živčnost v humor.

As the waiter brought the drinks, Anže tried to turn his nervousness into humor.

"Veš, ljudje pravijo, da sem malo okoren," je dejal z nervoznim nasmeškom, "ampak menim, da je to del mojega šarma."

"You know, people say I'm a bit clumsy," he said with a nervous smile, "but I think that's part of my charm."

Eva se je nasmehnila. "Nič hudega. Tudi jaz včasih spustim stvari."

Eva smiled. "No worries. I sometimes drop things too."

Nato, v odločilnem trenutku, je Anže ob prvi požirku želel narediti vtis z anekdoto. A žal, z nerodnim gibom, je njegova roka poskočila in ledena kava se je prelila čez mizo.

Then, at a crucial moment, when Anže wanted to impress with an anecdote after the first sip, his hand jolted awkwardly, and the iced coffee spilled over the table.

Škropljenje kave je skoraj zadelo Evo, a se ji je uspelo pravočasno umakniti.

The splatter of coffee almost hit Eva, but she managed to move away in time.

Anže je zgroženo zrl v polito mizo in zardel.

Anže stared horrified at the spilled table and blushed.

"O, ne, oprosti! Res mi je žal!" je vzkliknil, spustil pogled in počasi dvignil papirnati prtiček.

"Oh, no, I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!" he exclaimed, lowering his gaze and slowly picking up a paper napkin.

Eva pa se je le smejala. "Nič takega, resno," je rekla, "mogoče sva zdaj oba malo bolj osvežena." Nasmehnila se je nežno.

But Eva just laughed. "It's nothing serious, really," she said, "maybe we're both a bit more refreshed now." She smiled gently.

"Res mi je nerodno," je nadaljeval Anže, poskušal se opravičiti, toda Eva ga je ustavila.

"I'm really embarrassed," Anže continued, trying to apologize, but Eva stopped him.

"Rada imam take spontane trenutke. Ti si zelo zanimiv."

"I like these spontaneous moments. You are very interesting."

Kljub začetnemu chaosu, sta preostanek popoldneva preživela ob smehu in lahkotnem klepetu.

Despite the initial chaos, they spent the rest of the afternoon laughing and chatting lightly.

Pogovarjala sta se o glasbi, poletnih planih in najboljših skritih kotičkih Ljubljane.

They talked about music, summer plans, and the best hidden spots in Ljubljana.

Anže je sprostil svoj živčni smeh in užival v naravni atmosferi.

Anže relaxed his nervous laughter and enjoyed the natural atmosphere.

Ko sta se bližala koncu besednega druženja, je Anže nabral pogum.

As they neared the end of their chat, Anže gathered the courage.

"Te lahko povabim na še en tak dan? Mogoče brez polivanja kave?"

"Can I invite you for another day like this? Maybe without spilling coffee?"

Eva se je spogledala z njim, oči so se ji iskrile. "Seveda, z veseljem," je odgovorila.

Eva glanced at him, her eyes sparkling. "Of course, I'd love to," she replied.

Zakorakali so iz kafeterije, srečni, da je dan končal bolje, kot sta si upala misliti.

They walked out of the café, happy that the day ended better than they dared to think.

Anže je spoznal, da ni popolnost tista, ki šteje, temveč iskrenost.

Anže realized that it's not perfection that matters, but sincerity.
