Marek stál na námestí v Starej Bratislave.

Marek stood in the square in Stará Bratislava.

Vietor jemne šumenil medzi farebnými listami, ktoré pokrývali ulice.

The wind gently rustled among the colorful leaves that covered the streets.

"Dnes bude Jana naozaj prekvapená," usmial sa Marek, keď sa pozrel na Petru.

"Today Jana will be really surprised," Marek smiled as he looked at Petra.

Petra na neho pozrela s neistotou, ale v očiach jej žiaril záblesk súhlasu.

Petra looked at him with uncertainty, but a glint of agreement shone in her eyes.

Stála vedľa neho malá koza, alebo "naša escruffy psík," ako to Marek nazval.

Next to him stood a small goat, or "our scruffy little dog," as Marek called it.

Na koze bol malý žltý pršiplášť, ktorý sa na ňu ledva zmestil.

The goat wore a small yellow raincoat that barely fit her.

"Skutočne si myslíš, že to prejde?

"Do you really think this will work?"

" spýtala sa Petra, snažiac sa potlačiť smiech.

Petra asked, trying to suppress her laughter.

Marek prikývol: "Áno, len sa musíme tváriť sebavedome.

Marek nodded: "Yes, we just need to act confidently."

" Tak sa vydali na cestu starými, úzkymi uličkami.

So they set off through the old, narrow streets.

Turisti občas zvedavo pokukovali, ale Marek s Petrou sa tvárili, akoby viedli obyčajného psa.

Tourists occasionally glanced curiously, but Marek and Petra acted as if they were walking an ordinary dog.

Keď však došli k apartmánu Jany, koza sa zastavila.

However, when they reached Jana's apartment, the goat stopped.

Naklonila hlavu a hlasno zamečala.

She tilted her head and bleated loudly.

Marek s Petrou ostali stáť na mieste, srdcia im divoko bilo.

Marek and Petra stood still, their hearts racing wildly.

Jedna zo susediek, staršia dáma, vyšla na chodbu.

One of the neighbors, an older lady, came out into the hallway.

Marek zadržal dych.

Marek held his breath.

No namiesto kriku, sa začala smiať.

But instead of yelling, she started to laugh.

"To je ale brička!

"What a sight!"

" povedala a zakryla si ústa rukou.

she said, covering her mouth with her hand.

Jana, ktorá práve v tej chvíli otvorila dvere, ostala v úžase.

Jana, who just happened to open the door at that moment, was astonished.

"Čo to.

"What is...?"

" Jej oči sa rozšírili, ale keď uvidela kozu vo fraku, vybuchla do smiechu.

Her eyes widened, but when she saw the goat in a tuxedo, she burst into laughter.

Petra s Marekom sa pridali, a čoskoro sa smiala aj susedka so zvedavými okoloidúcimi.

Petra and Marek joined in, and soon the neighbor and curious passersby were also laughing.

"Ach, Marek," povedala Jana, keď si zotrela slzy smiechu z očí, "Tvoje nápady ma vždy zaskočia.

"Oh, Marek," Jana said, wiping tears of laughter from her eyes, "Your ideas always surprise me."

" Marek sa usmial a pokrčil ramenami: "Niekedy je dobré darovať smiech, aj keď sa to zdá byť šialené.

Marek smiled and shrugged: "Sometimes it's good to give the gift of laughter, even if it seems crazy."

"Ten večer nielen Jana, ale aj celá ulica mala dôvod sa zasmiať.

That evening not only Jana, but the whole street had a reason to laugh.

Marek si uvedomil, že jeho bláznivé nápady môžu potešiť viac ako len jednu dušu.

Marek realized that his crazy ideas could delight more than just one soul.

A tak, zatiaľ čo farebné listy stále klesali na bratislavské chodníky, večer naplnil smiech mnohých sŕdc.

And so, while the colorful leaves continued to fall on the Bratislava sidewalks, the evening filled many hearts with laughter.
