V Bratislave, na začiatku jesene, keď bolo lístie na stromoch krásne zafarbené, sa Marek a Jana vydali na prehliadku Bratislavského hradu.

In Bratislava, at the beginning of autumn, when the leaves on the trees were beautifully colored, Marek and Jana set out on a tour of Bratislava Castle.

Marek, skutočný nadšenec histórie, žiaril nadšením, že môže Janě ukázať toľko zaujímavostí.

Marek, a true history enthusiast, beamed with excitement at the chance to show Jana so many interesting things.

Jana ho zatiaľ sprevádzala, trochu skeptická, ale tešila sa na deň bez komplikácií.

Jana accompanied him, a bit skeptical, but she was looking forward to a day without complications.

S hradným sprievodcom navštívili veľké sály, kde viseli obrazy a vo vitrínach odpočívali staré meče.

With a castle guide, they visited the large halls, where paintings hung and old swords rested in display cases.

Marek vyprával ako encyklopédia a Jana sa usmievala.

Marek spoke like an encyclopedia and Jana smiled.

Všetko však obrátilo naruby, keď ich zaujala malá tmavá chodba na boku jednej sály.

However, everything turned upside down when they were intrigued by a small dark corridor on the side of one hall.

Marek navrhol, aby sa na chvíľu pozreli, kým ich skupina pokračuje ďalej.

Marek suggested they take a quick look before their group moved on.

„Poď, toto nám nesmie ujsť,“ vravel Marek so zápalom.

"Come on, we can't miss this," Marek said passionately.

Jana kývla: „Ale len na chvíľu, nech nezmeškáme zvyšok.

Jana nodded, "But just for a moment, so we don't miss the rest."

“Avšak, chodba bola dlhá a spletitá.

However, the corridor was long and winding.

Ako sa motali, ani si nevšimli, že už nenájdu cestu späť do hlavnej sály.

As they wandered, they didn't even notice when they couldn't find their way back to the main hall.

Nakoniec sa ocitli v tmavom, zaprášenom žalári.

Eventually, they found themselves in a dark, dusty dungeon.

Dvere sa za nimi ťažkým puknutím zavreli.

The door closed behind them with a heavy thud.

„Fajn, Marek, toto si mal v pláne?

"Well, Marek, did you plan this?"

“ zasmiala sa trochu nervózne Jana.

Jana laughed, a bit nervously.

„Zase moje vedomosti prídu vhod,“ uisťoval Marek, aj keď sa aj sám začal báť.

"My knowledge will come in handy again," Marek reassured, though he too began to feel afraid.

Skúšal rôzne ručné zámky, ale nič nefungovalo.

He tried various manual locks, but nothing worked.

Jana medzitým skúmala steny a objavila starú lampu.

Meanwhile, Jana examined the walls and discovered an old lamp.

„Aspoň máme svetlo,“ povzdychla si a zasvietila v tom temnom kúte.

"At least we have light," she sighed and lit it up in that dark corner.

Ale ako pokračovali v prehliadaní, narazili na starú skladovaciu miestnosť.

But as they continued exploring, they stumbled upon an old storage room.

Plná bola starých kostýmov a rekvizít.

It was full of old costumes and props.

„Pozri na tieto brnenia!

"Look at these armors!"

“ Marek sa žartom usmial a obliekol si kyrys.

Marek grinned jokingly and put on a breastplate.

Jana našla stredoveký plášť, ktorému chýbal len kúsok, aby bol kompletný.

Jana found a medieval cloak, which only needed a little piece to be complete.

„Mohli by sme si zahrať na rytierov a princezné,“ navrhovala rozšantená z nového objavu.

"We could play knights and princesses," she suggested, thrilled with their new discovery.

V zábave však našli spôsob, ako sa oslobodiť.

In their fun, however, they found a way to set themselves free.

Vzali starý kus brnenia a začali s ním búchať o steny, pričom vytvárali hlboké, mocné ozveny.

They took an old piece of armor and began banging it against the walls, creating deep, powerful echoes.

Jedna z ozvien sa dostala až k turistickej skupine.

One of the echoes reached the tourist group.

Sprievodca, prekvapene a s úľavou, nasledoval zvuk.

The guide, surprised and relieved, followed the sound.

Nakoniec našli Mareka a Janu v rohu, kde hrali svoje stredoveké role, s úsmevmi na tvárach a ozdobení starožitnosťami.

They finally found Marek and Jana in the corner, playing their medieval roles, smiles on their faces and adorned with antiques.

Turisti vytryskli smiechom.

The tourists burst into laughter.

Keď sa dostali von na hlavné nádvorie, Marek si vydýchol a pozrel na Janu: „Možno som sa opäť nenaučil niečo nové.

When they got out into the main courtyard, Marek sighed with relief and looked at Jana, "Maybe I didn't learn something new again."

"„Ale užíval si si to a to je hlavné,“ povedala Jana so smiechom.

"But you enjoyed it and that's what matters," Jana said with a laugh.

Už nebola skeptická, ale skutočne šťastná z Marekovej neuveriteľnej schopnosti každý deň premeniť na malú dobrodružnú hru.

She was no longer skeptical, but truly happy with Marek's incredible ability to turn every day into a small adventurous game.

A tak sa skončil deň.

And so the day ended.

S krásnym výhľadom na mesto a s novou príhodou, na ktorú mohli spomínať po celý život.

With a beautiful view of the city and a new story to reminisce about for a lifetime.

Na Bratislavskom hrade už viac než len spoznávali históriu — žili ju.

At Bratislava Castle, they did more than just learn about history— they lived it.
