Lukáš sa snažil niečo zmeniť.

Lukáš was trying to change something.

V poslednom čase mal málo času na svoje deti, Petru a Janu.

Lately, he had little time for his children, Petra and Jana.

Uvedomil si, že potrebujú spoločné chvíle.

He realized that they needed time together.

Aby boli viac rodina.

Preto ich vzal na výlet na UFO Observation Deck v Bratislave.

So he took them on a trip to the UFO Observation Deck in Bratislava.

Bol krásny koniec leta.

It was a beautiful end of summer.

Slnko sa chýlilo k západu a z výšky bola Bratislava úžasná.

The sun was setting, and from up high, Bratislava was amazing.

Mesto svietilo v teplých farbách a Dunaj pod ním pokojne plynul.

The city glowed in warm colors, and the Danube flowed peacefully below.

Deti boli nadšené.

The children were thrilled.

Petra obdivovala panorámu, zatiaľ čo Jana bežal a skúmal každý kút.

Petra admired the panorama, while Jana ran around and explored every corner.

"Môžeme ísť na tú výstavu fotiek?

"Can we go to that photo exhibit?"

" pýtala sa Petra.

asked Petra.

"Samozrejme, čo len chceš," usmial sa Lukáš, snažiac sa byť pozorný.

"Of course, whatever you want," smiled Lukáš, trying to be attentive.

Ale mladý Jana ho rýchlo strhol iným smerom, chcel skúmať ďalekohľady.

But young Jana quickly pulled him in another direction, wanting to explore the telescopes.

Lukáš sa pokúsil byť prítomný, ale bolo ťažké sledovať oboch naraz.

Lukáš tried to be present, but it was hard to keep track of both at once.

V dave zmizol na chvíľu pohľad na malého Janu.

In the crowd, he lost sight of little Jana for a moment.

"Lukáš!

"Lukáš!

Jana je preč!

Jana is gone!"

" vykríkla Petra, strach v jej hlase.

cried Petra, fear in her voice.

Srdce sa mu rozbúšilo.

His heart raced.

Nervózne sa obzeral, no vedel, že panika mu nepomôže.

He nervously looked around but knew that panicking wouldn't help.

"Petra, poď.

"Petra, come on.

Pomôž mi.

Help me."

"Spolu sa ponáhľali, Petra viedla cestu.

Together they hurried, with Petra leading the way.

Jej oči boli rýchle a zvedavé.

Her eyes were quick and curious.

Našli Janu pri stánku s mapami, zamestnaného opisovaním svojich objavov cudziu pani.

They found Jana at the map stand, engrossed in describing his discoveries to a stranger.

"Tu si!

"There you are!"

" vydýchol si Lukáš.

Lukáš breathed a sigh of relief.

"Bál som sa.

"I was scared."

"Jana sa len usmieval, nevedomý strachu, ktorý vzbudil.

Jana just smiled, unaware of the fear he had caused.

Lukáš kľačal, objal ho pevne a Petra sa pripojila.

Lukáš knelt down, hugged him tightly, and Petra joined in.

Rodina bola opäť spolu.

The family was together again.

Po tejto malej dráme sa rozhodli sadnúť si na lavičku a sledovať západ slnka.

After this small drama, they decided to sit on a bench and watch the sunset.

Sedeli tak, bok po boku.

They sat like that, side by side.

Ticho bolo pokojné a príjemné.

The silence was calm and pleasant.

"Ďakujem, že si nám ukázal všetko, tati," povedala Petra.

"Thank you for showing us everything, Dad," said Petra.

Jana prikývol, akoby súhlasil s jej slovami vlastným tichým spôsobom.

Jana nodded, as if agreeing with her words in his own quiet way.

Lukáš si uvedomil, že tieto momenty sú dôležité.

Lukáš realized that these moments were important.

Byť prítomný a načúvať.

To be present and to listen.

Už to nebol len výlet na UFO.

It was no longer just a trip to the UFO.

Bol to čas strávený spolu, byť naozaj rodinou.

It was time spent together, really being a family.

"Milujem vás oboch," povedal a deti sa k nemu znova pritúlili.

"I love you both," he said, and the children snuggled up to him again.

A tak sedeli, kým sa slnko úplne skrývalo za obzor, svetlo mesta sa pomaly premenilo na nočnú žiaru.

And so they sat, until the sun completely hid behind the horizon, the city's light slowly transforming into the glow of night.

Boli si bližší než kedykoľvek predtým.

They were closer than ever before.
