The lecturer paused and smiled.

"To je vynikajúca otázka," povedal a pustil sa do podrobného vysvetľovania.

"That's an excellent question," he said and launched into a detailed explanation.

Mária cítila, ako jej tváre zalievajú úsmevy obdivu z radov svojich spolužiakov.

Mária felt smiles of admiration washing over her face from her classmates.

Dokonca aj profesor jej prikývol, čo jej dodalo nový pocit sebavedomia.

Keď prezentácia skončila, Peter a Jozef zamávali Márii zo zadnej časti miestnosti.

When the presentation ended, Peter and Jozef waved at Mária from the back of the room.

"Bola si skvelá!" pochválil Peter.

"You were great!" praised Peter.

"Vidíš, vedela si to," dodal Jozef s úsmevom.

"See, you knew it," added Jozef with a smile.

Mária cítila, že rastie.

Mária felt herself growing.

Prekonala strach a dokázala, že jej hlas má význam.

She had overcome her fear and proved that her voice mattered.

Bohatšia o túto skúsenosť, Mária kráčala smerom ku východu z akvária s novým presvedčením, že jedného dňa prispeje k ochrane oceánov.

Enriched by this experience, Mária walked towards the exit of the aquarium with a new conviction that one day she would contribute to the protection of the oceans.
