The monkeys giggled and a distant lion occasionally roared.

Slnko svietilo cez listy stromov, tieňovalo chodníky a letné kvety žiarili okolo.

The sun shone through the leaves of the trees, shadowing the paths, and summer flowers glowed all around.

Všade sa ozýval smiech detí a občasný piskot papagájov.

Children's laughter resonated everywhere, along with the occasional squawk of parrots.

Marek kráčal vedľa svojej sestry Lenky.

Marek walked alongside his sister Lenka.

Dnes chcel zabudnúť, čo sa stalo doma.

Today, he wanted to forget what had happened at home.

Ich rodičia im včera oznámili, že sa musia presťahovať.

Their parents had told them yesterday that they had to move.

„Pozri, Lenka, tam sú žirafy,“ povedal Marek a ukázal smerom k ich výbehu.

"Look, Lenka, there are the giraffes," Marek said, pointing towards their enclosure.

Lenka však len pokrčila ramená.

However, Lenka just shrugged.

Bola smutná, pretože mala nechať za sebou školu a kamarátky.

She was sad because she had to leave her school and friends behind.

„Nepomôže to, Marek,“ odpovedala sucho.

"It won't help, Marek," she replied dryly.

„Všetko sa zmení.

"Everything is going to change."

“Marek vedel, ako sa cíti, ale nechcel, aby bol ich deň v zoo pokazený.

Marek knew how she felt but didn't want their day at the zoo to be ruined.

Rozhodol sa, že sa jej otvorí.

He decided to open up to her.

Zastavili sa pred dosiek morské levy.

They stopped in front of the seal show.

Mali začať ďalšiu show.

It was about to start.

Deti okolo ich sledovali s nadšením.

The children around watched with excitement.

Vzduchom sa šíril vôňa čerstvého popcornu.

The smell of fresh popcorn filled the air.

„Lenka, vieš.

"Lenka, you know...

aj ja som nervózny.

I'm nervous too.

Nechcem odísť od kamarátov.

I don't want to leave my friends.

Bojím sa, čo bude ďalej,“ priznal ticho Marek.

I'm scared about what's next," Marek admitted quietly.

Lenka na neho pozrela prekvapene.

Lenka looked at him surprised.

„Vážne?

"Really?

Myslela som, že teba to netrápi.

I thought you weren't bothered by it."

“„Traumatizuje to všetkých.

"It bothers everyone.

Ale ak sme spolu, môžeme zvládnuť čokoľvek,“ usmial sa Marek a stisol jej rameno.

But if we stick together, we can handle anything," Marek smiled and squeezed her shoulder.

V tej chvíli začala šou.

At that moment, the show began.

Morské levy skákali cez obruče a tlieskali.

The seals jumped through hoops and clapped.

Publikum sa smialo.

The audience laughed.

Lenka sa konečne usmiala.

Lenka finally smiled.

Pochopila, že nie je sama.

She realized she wasn't alone.

„Dobre, Marek.

"Alright, Marek.

Bude to lepšie.

It will get better.

Spolu to zvládneme,“ povedala a chytila ho za ruku.

Together, we'll manage," she said and took his hand.

Keď odchádzali zo zoologickej záhrady, obaja cítili, že majú novú silu.

As they left the zoo, both felt that they had newfound strength.

Marek pochopil, že zdieľať svoje obavy je v poriadku.

Marek understood that sharing his worries was okay.

Lenka vedela, že nie je jediná, kto má obavy.

Lenka knew she wasn't the only one with fears.

A tak, hoci im ostávalo mnoho neistôt, aspoň v ten deň v Bratislavskej zoo našli trochu pokoja.

And so, despite many uncertainties awaiting them, at least on that day in the Bratislavská zoo, they found a bit of peace.
