In the shadow of a large oak tree, on the edge of the garden, stood Tatyana.
She looked anxiously at the blooming sea of the Khozyaystva Ognennoy Ptitsy.
This was her home, her labor, her hope.
The calendar showed that autumn was already in full swing, and the forecast predicted the imminent arrival of the first frost.
"They are too beautiful to freeze," thought Tatyana, looking at the last of the daisies, marigolds, and asters that still clung to their stems.
Not far away stood Igor, her husband.
He was as calm as ever, but anxiety was evident in his eyes.
He knew that if they didn't urgently gather the harvest, their financial situation would be at risk.
"We'll make it," he said, trying to reassure his wife.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps came from the direction of the road.
It was Mikhail, their neighbor and, in a way, Tatyana's rival.
"Hello, Tatyana, Igor," said Mikhail, stopping at the gate.
He looked at the flowers, half-smiling.
There was no ill will in his heart, despite the rivalry.
"Would you like some help?
I see you have a lot to do."
Tatyana was reluctant to ask her rival for help, but common sense suggested that with Mikhail, they might be able to finish faster.
"What do you want in return?"
she asked, eyeing him warily.
"Nothing serious," he laughed.
"Just a little mutual help.
I'll need some assistance with barn repairs in the winter."
After a brief consideration, Tatyana nodded.
Time was pressing, and the flowers wouldn't wait.
Soon, the three of them were bending over the flowers like ants, carefully cutting them and placing them into boxes.
As the sun began to set, it suddenly started to get colder.
A light frost penetrated through their clothes.
"We need to hurry," shouted Tatyana, feeling goosebumps creep across her skin.
Everyone worked tirelessly, and when the last flower was picked, a silence fell.
"Thank you, Mikhail," Tatyana quietly said.
She realized that help and community support were not a weakness, but a strength.
"You're welcome," replied Mikhail, pleased that he could help.
As soon as the first frosts arrived, the flowers were safe, and Tatyana realized that with a greenhouse full to the brim and a heart filled with new friends, any bad weather could be endured.
And the abundantly blooming beds were proof of that.
Such was the Khozyaystva Ognennoy Ptitsy.
