In Moskve, at the beginning of spring, the station is full of people.

Снег почти растаял, и в воздухе витает запах блинов и радости — здесь празднуют Масленицу.

The snow has almost melted, and the air is filled with the scent of blinov and joy — they are celebrating Maslenitsu here.

Юрий стоит в толпе, погруженный в свои мысли.

Yuriy stands in the crowd, absorbed in his thoughts.

Сегодня у него важная встреча в Санкт-Петербурге.

Today he has an important meeting in Sankt-Peterburge.

Эта встреча может дать ему долгожданное повышение.

This meeting could give him the long-awaited promotion.

Но вот беда, он опоздал на свой поезд.

But there’s a problem, he missed his train.

Юрий сердится и нервничает.

Yuriy is angry and nervous.

В голове — лишь работа и работа.

His head is filled with nothing but work and more work.

Рядом стоит Аня.

Next to him stands Anya.

Она путешествует по России и пишет блог о своих впечатлениях.

She is traveling around Rossii and writing a blog about her impressions.

Аня смотрит на Юрия, замечая его напряженное лицо.

Anya looks at Yuriya, noticing his tense face.

Она подходит и улыбается.

She approaches and smiles.

— Здравствуй, — говорит она.

"Hello," she says.

— Вижу, ты чем-то расстроен.

"I see you’re upset about something."

Юрий вздыхает.

Yuriy sighs.

— Я пропустил поезд на важную встречу в Питер.

"I missed the train to an important meeting in Piter."

— Бывает, — пожимает плечами Аня.

"It happens," Anya shrugs.

— Хочешь немного отвлечься и отпраздновать Масленицу?

"Would you like to distract yourself a bit and celebrate Maslenitsu?"

Юрий колеблется.

Yuriy hesitates.

У него нет времени на праздники.

He has no time for celebrations.

Но улыбка Ани подкупает.

But Ani's smile is enticing.

Вокруг — музыка, смех, люди радуются весне.

Around them, there is music, laughter, people enjoying the spring.

Юрий соглашается, сам не зная зачем.

Yuriy agrees, not knowing why.

Они проходят через яркую толпу.

They walk through the vibrant crowd.

Вдруг Юрий замечает, как дети запускают разноцветные воздушные змеи.

Suddenly, Yuriy notices children flying colorful kites.

Он вспоминает, как в детстве делал это с отцом.

He remembers doing this with his father when he was a child.

Вдруг у него в душе что-то меняется.

Suddenly, something changes within him.

Аня и Юрий покупают блины и пробуют их с разными начинками.

Anya and Yuriy buy bliny and try them with different fillings.

Они участвуют в традиционных играх и кулачных боях.

They participate in traditional games and fisticuffs.

Юрий впервые за долгое время улыбается искренне.

For the first time in a long while, Yuriy smiles sincerely.

Он понимает: жизнь — это не только работа.

He understands: life isn't only about work.

— Знаешь, — говорит он Ане, — может, мне стоит больше радоваться мелочам.

"You know," he says to Ane, "maybe I should enjoy the little things more."

Аня кивает.

Anya nods.

— Это правильно.

"That's right.

Не гонится за карьерой весь мир.

The whole world isn't chasing a career.

Главное — это моменты, которые ты проживаешь здесь и сейчас.

What's important are the moments you live here and now."

Юрий решает не спешить в Петербург.

Yuriy decides not to rush to Peterburg.

Он благодарен Ане и Масленице за этот выход из рутины.

He is grateful to Ane and Maslenitse for this break from routine.

Он решает поехать вместе с ней, чтобы писать о своих новых открытиях.

He decides to travel with her, to write about his new discoveries.

Работа, конечно, важна, но теперь он знает: счастье — в другом.

Work, of course, is important, but now he knows: happiness is in something else.

В тот день Юрий меняется.

Он идет навстречу приключениям, стараясь не упустить вновь самые важные моменты жизни.

He moves toward adventure, trying not to miss the most important moments in life again.

На вокзале продолжается праздник, а снег окончательно сходит с улиц, уступая место весне и новым начинаниям.

The celebration continues at the station, and the snow finally clears from the streets, making way for spring and new beginnings.
