Cu câteva zile în urmă, Andrei fusese la un control medical de rutină.

Medicul îi spusese ceva ce nu se aștepta să audă: "Sunt niște nereguli la inimă, nimic grav încă, dar ar trebui investigat mai departe."

The doctor had told him something he didn't expect to hear: "There are some irregularities with your heart, nothing serious yet, but it should be investigated further."

Inima i s-a strâns de spaimă, dar nu a lăsat să se vadă.

His heart clenched in fear, but he didn't let it show.

Pentru el, ideea de a părea vulnerabil era insuportabilă.

"I'm going to get some air," he said, trying to appear relaxed.

Dar în momentul în care ieși pe hol, simți că picioarele îl trădează.

But the moment he stepped into the hallway, he felt his legs betray him.

Andrei se trezi înconjurat de colegii lui.

Andrei woke up surrounded by his colleagues.

Elena îi ținea capul, iar Mihai îl privea îngrijorat.

Elena was holding his head, and Mihai was looking at him worriedly.

"Ce s-a întâmplat, Andrei? Arăți palid," întrebă el.

"What happened, Andrei? You look pale," he asked.

Atunci, Andrei realiză că nu mai poate ascunde adevărul.

Oftă adânc.

He sighed deeply.

"A fost un control medical," începu el, tremurând ușor.

"It was a medical check-up," he began, trembling slightly.

"Au găsit ceva la inimă. M-a panicat și nu știu ce să fac."

"They found something with my heart. It scared me, and I don't know what to do."

Mihai îi puse o mână pe umăr.

Mihai put a hand on his shoulder.

"Vom fi aici cu tine, Andrei. Nu ești singur în asta."

"We'll be here with you, Andrei. You're not alone in this."

A doua zi, Andrei s-a hotărât să meargă la un specialist.

The next day, Andrei decided to see a specialist.

El știa că trebuie să își accepte vulnerabilitatea pentru a merge mai departe.
