- Det var vinterfestivalen i Oslo, og Lars og Ingrid var veldig spente. - It was the winter festival in Oslo, and Lars and Ingrid were very excited. 
- De hadde planlagt en spesiell konkurranse som de kalte "ullsokkkasting", og de håpet på mange deltakere. - They had planned a special competition which they called the "wool sock toss", and they hoped for many participants. 
- Lars hadde allerede funnet en fin åpen plass hvor konkurransen skulle finne sted. - Lars had already found a nice open space where the competition was to take place. 
- Han markerte startlinjen med fargeglade flagg og ventet spent på at folk skulle dukke opp. - He marked the starting line with colorful flags and waited anxiously for people to show up. 
- Endelig begynte folk å samle seg rundt Lars og Ingrid. - Finally, people began to gather around Lars and Ingrid. 
- Henrik var den første som meldte seg på konkurransen. - Henrik was the first to sign up for the competition. 
- Han kikket rundt seg og sa: "Dette ser moro ut!" - He looked around and said, "This looks like fun!" 
- Lars var veldig glad for all oppmerksomheten. - Lars was very happy for all the attention. 
- Han ba alle om å finne en ullsokk og kaste den så langt de kunne. - He asked everyone to find a woolen sock and throw it as far as they could.

- Uten å nøle bestemte Lars seg for å jakte på reinsdyret og sørge for at det var i orden. - Without hesitation, Lars decided to hunt the reindeer and make sure it was okay. 
- Ingrid og Henrik fulgte etter. - Ingrid and Henrik followed. 
- De løp gjennom parken og prøvde å finne reinsdyret. - They ran through the park trying to find the reindeer. 
- Omsider fant de reinsdyret på et åpent jorde. - At last they found the reindeer in an open field. 
- Det sto stille og pustet tungt. - It stood still and breathed heavily. 
- Lars gikk forsiktig nærmere og så at reinen hadde skrubbsår på beinet. - Lars carefully went closer and saw that the reindeer had a scrape on its leg. 
- Lars fikk en idé. - Lars got an idea. 
- Han tok av seg ullsokken sin og bandt den forsiktig rundt reinens skadde bein for å gi litt støtte. - He took off his woolen sock and carefully tied it around the reindeer's injured leg to provide some support. 
- Ingrid fant litt vann og Henrik fant noen gressstrå som reinen kunne spise. - Ingrid found some water and Henrik found some blades of grass for the reindeer to eat. 
- Etter en stund begynte reinen å føle seg bedre. - After a while the reindeer started to feel better. 
- Den begynte å gå rundt og se ut som den gamle seg selv igjen. - It started walking around looking like its old self again. 
- Lars, Ingrid og Henrik smilte lettet. - Lars, Ingrid and Henrik smiled with relief. 
- Når de gikk tilbake til festivalområdet, ventet alle deltakerne fra "ullsokkkasting"-konkurransen spent. - Walking back to the festival grounds, all the participants from the "wool sock throwing" competition were waiting anxiously. 
- De hadde fulgt med på hele hendelsen og ønsket å vite hva som hadde skjedd. - They had followed the whole incident and wanted to know what had happened. 
- Lars, Ingrid og Henrik fortalte om møtet med reinsdyret og hvordan de hjalp det. - Lars, Ingrid and Henrik told about the meeting with the reindeer and how they helped it.
