Summer was in full bloom when Aigars, Ieva, and Rūta began their journey from Rīga to the Latvian seaside.

Saulainā diena solīja piedzīvojumus un jaunas atmiņas.

Aigars sēdēja automašīnā un klusi vēroja, kā pilsētas trokšņi aiz muguras pārvērtās par lauku klusumu, ko ieskauj koki.

Ieva priecīga stūrēja pa šaurajiem ceļiem, dziedot līdzi radio.

Ieva happily steered along the narrow roads, singing along to the radio.

Rūta, apsēdusies aizmugurē, lasīja karti un iesmēja par Ievas nepareizajiem pagriezieniem.

Rūta sat in the back, reading the map and chuckling at Ieva's wrong turns.

"No tā ceļa brīža viss būs nepareizi!

"From that road moment, everything will be wrong!"

" Aigars smīdināja, meklēdams vieglumu savās domās, kas viņu visbiežāk nodarbināja.

Aigars joked, seeking lightness in his thoughts that often occupied him.

Drīz vien skolas beigas un jauna mācību gada sākums prasīs jaunas pārmaiņas.

Rūta skatījās uz jūru.

"Vai mums jāpagriežas šeit?

"Yes," replied Aigars, "that's exactly where we want to go."

When they were near the seaside, Ieva stopped the car by the roadside.

Vilšanās bumba sirdī aizgāja prom.

A ball of disappointment left her heart.

Šeit, Baltijas jūras piekrastē, draudzības vasaras beigu tradīcijas sāka notikt.

Here, on the Baltic Sea coast, the friendship summer ending traditions began to take place.

"Ja es teiktu, ka nemaz neraizējos par skolu, es melotu," Aigars beidzot atklāja savas domas, kad draugi sasēdās uz smiltīm skatīties saulrietu.

"If I said I wasn't worried about school, I'd be lying," Aigars finally revealed his thoughts as the friends sat on the sand to watch the sunset.

Mierīgā jūras viļņu šalkoņa mīkstināja viņa trauksmi.

The gentle sound of the sea waves softened his anxiety.

"Es bieži domāju, ka esmu negadījumu gaidībās, bet arī aizrautība ir daļa no tā," Ieva atzina, "Mums jābūt atvērtiem pārmaiņām.

"I often think I'm in anticipation of accidents, but excitement is also part of it," Ieva admitted, "We must be open to change."

""Draudzība nav tikai atmiņas.

"Friendship is not only memories.

Tā ir mūsu spēks," piebilda Rūta ar šķipsnu cinisma, kas maskēja patiesu sentimentu.

It is our strength," added Rūta with a pinch of cynicism that masked true sentiment.

Saules stars atspīdēja virs ūdens, apgaismojot viņu sejas ar jaunu gaismu.

A ray of sun reflected over the water, illuminating their faces with new light.

Tieši tad Aigars saprata – pat ja skola atnesīs jaunus izaicinājumus, viņu draudzība paliks nezūdoša.

It was then that Aigars realized – even if school brings new challenges, their friendship would remain unbroken.

Viņi izteica solījumu – lai skola vai dzīves ceļi kādi vien būtu, vienmēr būs plecu pie pleca.

They made a promise – whatever school or life paths may bring, they would always be side by side.

Nakts drīzumā sēdēja pār šo mazo draugu grupu, bet viņu sirdis bija pilnas cerības un jaunas apņēmības.

The night soon settled over this small group of friends, but their hearts were full of hope and new determination.

Pārliecības un draudzības gaismā viņi atstāja jūras krastu, pārliecināti, ka nekādas pārmaiņas šos saites nespēs saraut.
