In a small town, autumn had arrived with golden colors and a crisp chill.
Lielā, vecā ķieģeļu ēka, kurā atradās bāreņu nams, izcēlās starp augstiem, šūpojošiem kokiem.
The large, old brick building, where the orphanage was located, stood out among the tall, swaying trees.
The air was filled with the scent of decaying leaves, and the children living there were very excited about the upcoming autumn festival.
Armands bija viens no bērniem šajā namā.
Armands was one of the children in this home.
Viņš bieži sēdēja savā istabā un zīmēja.
He often sat in his room and drew.
Pencils and paper were his friends, but he often didn’t have time to talk to the other orphans.
Armands vēlējās dot savu ieguldījumu festivālā, taču trūka pārliecības par savām spējām.
Armands wanted to contribute to the festival, but he lacked confidence in his abilities.
Savukārt Liene bija pilnīgs Armands pretstats.
On the other hand, Liene was the complete opposite of Armands.
She was energetic and immediately involved herself in any event that took place.
Liene knew that Armands was talented at drawing and invited him to participate in the festival.
Raimonds, kurš bija ar mierīgāku dabu, piedāvāja palīdzēt veidot kaut ko kopīgu, jo viņš bija izcils amatnieks.
Raimonds, who had a calmer nature, offered to help create something together, as he was an excellent craftsman.
"Ko jūs domājat par lielu sienu gleznojumu?" Liene ierosināja.
"What do you think about a large mural?" Liene suggested.
“With colors, leaves, and all the wonders of an autumn painting?”
Armands sākumā vilcinājās.
Armands hesitated at first.
"Bet, ja tas neizdosies?" viņš jautāja.
"But what if it doesn't work out?" he asked.
Tomēr Liene un Raimonds viņu mudināja mēģināt.
However, Liene and Raimonds encouraged him to try.
Viņi sapulcējās lielajā zālē, kur sienas bija tukšas un gaidošas.
They gathered in the big hall, where the walls were empty and waiting.
Armands started sketching, Liene painted, and Raimonds took care of the small details.
Kopā viņi izveidoja lielisku sienas gleznojumu ar krāsainiem kokiem, kritušām lapām un klaudzīgu rudens debesu fonu.
Together, they created a wonderful mural with colorful trees, fallen leaves, and a backdrop of rattling autumn skies.
Festivāla diena atnāca.
The day of the festival arrived.
The mural was unveiled for all the children and caretakers.
Armands stāvēja tur, ļoti nervozi.
Armands stood there, very nervously.
Bet drīz vien viņš dzirdēja aplausus.
But soon he heard applause.
Everyone was looking at him, Liene, and Raimonds with admiration.
Armands felt pride and a sense of belonging that was previously unfamiliar.
With the conclusion of the festival, Armands felt that he had found friends who shared not only his dreams but also his joy in success.
He realized how important collaboration and friendship are.
Gleznodami kopā, viņi bija radījuši ne tikai mākslas darbu, bet arī jaunas, ciešas saiknes.
In painting together, they had created not just a piece of art, but also new, close bonds.
It was the autumn when Armands finally understood that he not only belonged here but was also very needed.
