” – šaukė ji savo broliui, kai jie abu stovėjo lauke.

“Galbūt jau per vėlu, Rūta.

"Perhaps it's already too late, Rūta.

Bet nieko čia nepakeisi – reikia imtis darbo.

”Tuo metu prie jų priėjo Dovilė, Rūtos geriausia draugė.

At that moment, Dovilė, Rūta's best friend, approached them.

Ji buvo dvasiškai artima savo lietuviškoms šaknims.

She was spiritually close to her Lithuanian roots.

“Turime paprašyti protėvių pagalbos.

"We need to ask for our ancestors' help.

Vėlinės artėja, tai tinkamas laikas,” tarė Dovilė.

Vėlinės is approaching; it's the right time," said Dovilė.

Rūta mąstė.

Rūta thought about it.

Gal jos draugė buvo teisi.

Maybe her friend was right.

“Gerai, padarykim tai.

"All right, let's do it.

Bet taip pat turime skubėti su derliaus rinkimu.

”Greitai jie suorganizavo nedidelę ceremoniją, pagerbdamos protėvius ir prašydamos derliaus apsaugos.

Po to, visi trys pasiryžę rinkosi laukus, rinkdami kiek tik galėdami.

” šaukė Rūta, dirbdama kartu su Mindaugu ir Dovile.

Jie stengėsi greitai, neprarasdami vilties.

Žvarbus vėjas plėšė jų veidus, bet jie nesustojo nė akimirkai.

The harsh wind tore at their faces, but they did not stop for a moment.

Ir štai, užslinko aušra.

And then, dawn broke.

Pirmieji saulės spinduliai nušvietė laukuose surinktus kukulius.

The first rays of the sun illuminated the harvested bundles in the fields.

Jie suspėjo.

They had made it.

Rūta stovėjo su broliu ir drauge, nuvargę, bet laimingi.

Rūta stood with her brother and friend, tired but happy.

Ugnis jų akyse švietė iš naujo – tradicijos ir pastangos atsipirko.

The fire in their eyes shone anew – tradition and effort had paid off.

Su šypsena ji tarė: “Ačiū už pagalbą, Mindaugai ir Dovile.

With a smile, she said, "Thank you for the help, Mindaugas and Dovilė.

Mūsų protėviai tikrai buvo su mumis.

”Dovilė šypsojosi, žvelgdama į mišką, kur pro tirštus rudenio lapus prasiveržė rytas.

Dovilė smiled, looking at the forest where the morning emerged through the thick autumn leaves.

“Mes visada esame stipresni kartu,” pasakė ji.

"We are always stronger together," she said.

Taip Rūta išmoko priderinti tradicijas su šiuolaikiniais metodais, supratusi, kad šiose šaknyse slypi galia ir viltis.

In this way, Rūta learned to balance tradition with modern methods, understanding that within these roots lies power and hope.

Ir štai, tarp miškų atbundant naujai dienai, jų šeimos ūkis buvo saugus.

And so, as a new day awakened among the forests, their family farm was safe.
