Vėjas švilpė per aukštas pušis, kai Vytautas žingsniavo smėlio takeliu Curonian Spit.
The wind whistled through the tall pines as Vytautas walked along the sandy path of the Curonian Spit.
Šalia jo ėjo Asta ir Živilė.
Beside him were Asta and Živilė.
Spalio sūkurys išmargino aikštelę, kurioje jų močiutė mėgo leisti laiką.
The swirl of October colored the spot where their grandmother loved to spend time.
Švilpiant vėjui, rudens lapai sukosi ore, sukurdamas ypatingą atmosferą.
With the wind whistling, autumn leaves twirled in the air, creating a special atmosphere.
"Mes čia esam, kad pagerbtume močiutės atminimą," kalbėjo Vytautas, save iškeldamas lyderio pozicijoje.
"We are here to honor grandmother's memory," said Vytautas, positioning himself as the leader.
"Reikalinga pagarbiai išbarstyti jos pelenus."
"It's necessary to respectfully scatter her ashes."
Asta jautėsi pasimetusi.
Asta felt lost.
Ji norėjo nupiešti paveikslą, kurį galėtų palikti močiutei atminti.
She wanted to paint a picture that she could leave as a memory for her grandmother.
"Gal galėtume kitaip... piešti? Ji taip mėgo mano piešinius," sumurmėjo ji.
"Could we do something else... like painting? She loved my drawings so much," she murmured.
Živilė, stovėdama šalia jūros, slapta norėjo išmėginti savo šokio įgūdžius, sukurdama simbolinį šokį močiutei.
Živilė, standing by the sea, secretly wanted to try her dancing skills by creating a symbolic dance for her grandmother.
"Aš norėčiau atlikti šokį," pridėjo ji.
"I would like to dance," she added.
Netoliese, Baltijos jūros bangos švelniai plovė pakrantę.
Nearby, the waves of the Baltic Sea gently washed the shore.
Lėkdamas laikas įnešė į paviršių senas nuoskaudas.
As time flew by, old grievances came to the surface.
"Mes niekada nesutardavome, kaip pabūti kartu," pasakė Asta, nepritariančiai žiūrėdama į Vytautą.
"We never agreed on how to be together," said Asta, looking disapprovingly at Vytautas.
Vytautas atsipalaidavo, suprasdamas, kad laikyti kontrolę nepadės.
Vytautas relaxed, understanding that holding control wouldn't help.
"Gerai," jis tarė, "Galbūt galime rasti būdą, kuris tenkins mus visus."
"Okay," he said, "Maybe we can find a way that will satisfy us all."
Vėjas nurimo.
The wind calmed.
Visi trys broliukai apsistatė apskritimu.
All three siblings circled around.
Asta piešė šiltą paveikslą, vyraujant rudens spalvoms, ant smėlio.
Asta drew a warm picture, dominated by autumn's colors, on the sand.
Živilė pradėjo verpti lengvus žingsnius, sujungiančius smėlio piešinį į šokį, impulsais sklindantį vėjui.
Živilė began to weave gentle steps, blending the sand drawing into a dance that spread impulses to the wind.
Galiausiai Vytautas traukia iš maišelio pelenus, įsivaikštęs į atsiminimus, ir, susivienijęs su sesėmis, jie kartu išbarstė pelenus.
Finally, Vytautas pulled the ashes from the bag, immersing himself in memories, and united with his sisters, they scattered the ashes together.
"Ačiū," pasakė Živilė, apsisprendusi priimti kompromisą.
"Thank you," said Živilė, deciding to accept the compromise.
Tas momentas, kai jie trys rankomis susikibo, suteikė ramybės.
That moment, when the three of them joined hands, brought peace.
Jie suprato, kad močiutės atminimo nasarai - gerokai daugiau nei paprasčiausias veiksmas.
They understood that honoring their grandmother's memory was much more than just a simple act.
Tai buvo meilės ir supratimo apraiška.
It was an expression of love and understanding.
Plaukdamos ant bangų, pelenų dalelės tapo jų stiprybės simboliu.
Floating on the waves, the particles of ashes became a symbol of their strength.
Broliai ir seserys nusprendė leisti praeičiai tapsi pamoka, o ne trukdžiu.
The siblings decided to let the past be a lesson, not an obstacle.
Jų močiutė gyvens jų širdyse, kaip ir jų naujoji sąjunga.
Their grandmother would live in their hearts, just as their new unity would.
