Jie buvo pakeliui į Kuršių neriją, norėjo pamatyti garsiuosius smėlio kopas ir Parnidžio kopos saulės laikrodį.

They were on their way to the Curonian Spit, eager to see the famous sand dunes and the Parnidis dune sundial.

Žiema buvo šaltoka, bet Rūta jautė šįkart didesnį potraukį nuotykiams.

Winter was quite cold, but Rūta felt a stronger longing for adventure this time.

"Gal būkime atsargūs," ištarė Mantas, vairuodamas mašiną.

"Perhaps we should be careful," said Mantas, driving the car.

"Žiemą čia viskas pavojinga.

"Everything is dangerous here in winter.

Keliai pilni ledo.

The roads are full of ice."

"Eglė, sėdėdama gale, pasitaisė šaliką.

Eglė, sitting in the back, adjusted her scarf.

"Ko mes bijom?

"What are we afraid of?

"Rūtą jaudino kelionė.

Rūta was excited about the journey.

Ji norėjo daugiau sužinoti apie savo lietuviškas šaknis.

Žiūrėdama pro langą, matė baltai apsipylusias medžius ir jausdama pasididžiavimą Lietuva.

Kai jie pasiekė Kuršių neriją, sniegas tapo dar tirštesnis, o vėjas stiprėjo.

When they reached the Curonian Spit, the snow became even thicker, and the wind grew stronger.

Mantas šiek tiek lėtino tempą, bet Rūta nekantravo pasiekti tą vietą.

Mantas slowed down a bit, but Rūta was eager to reach the place.

"Mums reikia judėti.

"We need to keep moving.

Tai nepaprasta diena," pasakė ji.

This is not an ordinary day," she said.

Keliaudami link Parnidžio kopos, atmosfera tapo iššūkių kupina.

As they traveled towards the Parnidis dune, the atmosphere became full of challenges.

Sniegas sūkiškai vyniojosi aplink juos, keliai buvo slidūs.

The snow swirled around them, and the roads were slippery.

Mantas nors ir nerimavo, tačiau tvirtai viražiavo.

Despite his concerns, Mantas drove confidently.

Eglė bandė juos palaikyti: "Mes galime tai padaryti.

Eglė tried to encourage them: "We can do it.

Tai bus verta visko.

It will be worth it."

"Pagaliau, jie pasiekė Parnidžio kopą.

Finally, they reached the Parnidis dune.

Tačiau, staiga, pūga užslinko, aplinkui nieko nesimatė aiškiai.

However, suddenly, a blizzard came upon them, and everything around was unclear.

Buvo baisu, bet ir šiurpulinga.

It was frightening yet thrilling.

Rūta stipriai sugniaužė draugų rankas.

Rūta tightly gripped her friends' hands.

Ji negalėjo atsitraukti.

She couldn't step back.

Viduje jautėsi aiškumu ir stiprybe.

Inside, she felt clarity and strength.

"Mes čia, kartu.

"We are here, together.

Mūsų palikimas, mūsų stiprybė," kalbėjo ji, net per stiprų vėjo gaudesį.

Our heritage, our strength," she spoke, even through the strong howling wind.

Kai pagaliau saugos sumetimais sustojo prie saulės laikrodžio, sniego audra aprimo.

When they finally stopped by the sundial for safety reasons, the snowstorm subsided.

Aplinkui juos atsivėrė ramus vaizdas, visą Kuršių neriją supo balta sniego paklodė.

Around them opened a peaceful scene, the entire Curonian Spit was covered in a white blanket of snow.

Saulės laikrodis simbolizavo laiką, istoriją, nenutrūkstamą Lietuvos galią.

The sundial symbolized time, history, the unbreakable power of Lithuania.

Rūta pajuto didelę ramybę.

Rūta felt a great peace.

Jos širdyje užsidegė dėkingumo ir pasididžiavimo kibirkštis.

"Nuotykių neįveikia nei sniegas, nei vėjas," sušuko Eglė, o visi kartu žvelgė į tolį ir jausdami artumą su gimtąja žeme.

"Neither snow nor wind can conquer adventures," shouted Eglė, as they all looked into the distance, feeling a closeness to their homeland.
