제주도에 가을 바람이 살랑살랑 불어왔습니다.

A gentle autumn breeze blew through Jeju Island.

고등학교 학생들이 현장 학습으로 제주도를 찾은 날이었습니다.

It was the day high school students visited Jeju Island for a field trip.

그곳은 붉은 단풍과 푸른 바다로 가득 차 있었습니다.

The place was filled with red autumn leaves and the blue ocean.

학생들은 환호성을 지르며 버스를 타고, 쾌적한 게스트하우스에 도착했습니다.

The students cheered as they boarded the bus and arrived at a comfortable guesthouse.

게스트하우스에서는 한라산이 한눈에 보이고, 가을 경치가 아름다웠습니다.

From the guesthouse, Hallasan was in full view, and the autumn scenery was beautiful.

지수는 조금 긴장되었습니다. 사람들과 쉽게 친해지기 어렵다는 사실을 스스로 잘 알고 있었기 때문입니다.

Jisoo was a bit nervous because she knew well that making friends wasn't easy for her.

하지만 이번에는 다르길 바랐습니다.

However, she hoped this time would be different.

지수는 특별한 계획을 세웠습니다.

Jisoo had a special plan.

추석을 맞아 직접 만든 송편을 가져와 친구들에게 나누어 주고 싶었습니다.

For Chuseok, she wanted to share homemade songpyeon with her friends.

이를 통해 조금 더 다가갈 기회를 만들고 싶었습니다.

She hoped this would give her a chance to get closer to them.

둘째 날 밤, 학생들은 저녁 식사를 하고 있었습니다.

On the second night, students were having dinner.

민호와 하나는 이미 서로 친했기 때문에 웃고 떠들며 즐거운 시간을 보내고 있었습니다.

Minho and Hana were already friends, laughing and enjoying their time together.

지수는 그 모습을 보면서 마음속에서 용기가 필요하다고 생각했습니다.

Watching them, Jisoo felt she needed courage.

"내가 만든 송편을 줄까? 아니면 그냥 있을까?" 고민하는 사이 저녁 식사가 거의 끝나가고 있었습니다.

She thought, "Should I give them the songpyeon I made? Or should I just stay back?" While she was debating, dinner was almost over.

마침내 지수는 음식을 든 손을 민호와 하나에게 내밀었습니다.

Finally, Jisoo held out her food to Minho and Hana.

"이거, 제가 만든 송편이에요. 우리 집에서는 추석 때 꼭 만들어요." 지수는 떨리는 목소리로 말했습니다.

"This is songpyeon I made. We always make it during Chuseok at my house," she said with a trembling voice.

민호와 하나는 잠시 놀란 표정을 지었지만, 이내 환하게 웃으며 송편을 받았습니다.

Minho and Hana were momentarily surprised, but then they smiled brightly and accepted the songpyeon.

"와! 지수 너 정말 잘 만들었다! 맛도 최고야!" 민호가 말했습니다.

"Wow! Jisoo, you really did a great job! It tastes amazing!" said Minho.

그날 저녁, 민호와 하나는 지수를 놀이에 초대했습니다.

That evening, Minho and Hana invited Jisoo to join their games.

다함께 전통 놀이도 하고, 제주 이야기도 나누었습니다.

Together, they played traditional games and shared stories about Jeju Island.

웃음소리가 끊이지 않았습니다.

Laughter never ceased.

지수는 조금씩 마음이 열리는 느낌이었습니다.

Jisoo felt her heart slowly opening up.

지수는 자기가 얼마나 걱정했는지를 돌아보았습니다.

Jisoo reflected on how much she had worried.
