장미꽃이 만발한 늦봄, 서울의 광장시장은 사람들로 붐볐다.

In late spring, when roses were in full bloom, Seoul's Gwangjang Market was bustling with people.

시장 거리에는 노란 전등들이 반짝였고, 풍성한 음식 향기가 코끝을 간질였다.

Yellow lights twinkled along the market streets, and the rich aroma of food tickled the nose.

그곳에 주인공인 민준이 서 있었다.

There stood the protagonist, Minjun, holding a small note in his hand.

그는 손에 작은 메모를 쥐고 있었다. 그것은 그의 여자친구 혜진이 가장 좋아하는 특별한 요리의 재료들이 목록이었다.

It was a list of ingredients for a special dish that his girlfriend, Hyejin, loved the most.

평소에는 거의 하지 않는 일이었지만, 그는 용기를 내어 상인들에게 도움을 청하기 시작했다.

Though it was something he rarely did, he gathered the courage to start asking the vendors for help.

Several vendors shook their heads, and Minjun became increasingly anxious.

Just then, an elderly woman running an old vegetable shop in a corner of the market saw his face.

"어린 친구, 무슨 고민인가?" 할머니가 물었다.

"Young friend, what's troubling you?" she asked.

민준은 상황을 설명했다.

Minjun explained his situation.

할머니는 웃으며 "오래 전부터 이걸 찾는 사람은 드물었지. 운이 좋군" 하시며 가게 깊은 곳에서 그 귀한 재료를 꺼내주셨다.

The grandmother smiled and said, "People have rarely looked for this for a long time. You're lucky," as she retrieved the precious ingredient from deep within her shop.

귀중한 재료를 얻은 민준은 시간 내에 집에 도착할 수 있었다.

With the valuable ingredient in hand, Minjun was able to get home in time.

조심스럽게 요리를 준비한 후, 영상 통화를 시작했다.

After carefully preparing the dish, he started the video call.

화면 속 혜진의 웃는 얼굴이 보였다.

On the screen, Hyejin's smiling face appeared.

"와, 이 요리!" 혜진은 놀라며 말했다.

"Wow, this dish!" Hyejin exclaimed in surprise.
