현지 요리사인 알레산드로는 열정적으로 손짓하며 파스타 만드는 법을 설명하고 있었다.

The local chef, Alessandro, was passionately gesturing and explaining how to make pasta.

그러나, 이탈리아어로 하는 설명은 진수에게 마치 외계어처럼 들렸다.

However, the explanation in Italian sounded like an alien language to Jinsu.

"진수야, 알레산드로가 뭐라고 했어?

"Jinsu, what did Alessandro say?"

" 보미가 물었다.

Bomi asked.

진수는 주저하며 고개를 저었다.

Jinsu hesitated and shook his head.

진수의 자존심은 "모르겠어"라는 말을 하기 어려웠다.

His pride made it difficult to say, "I don't know."

대신 그는 나름대로 이해한 것을 계속 진행했다.

Instead, he continued based on what he thought he understood.

보미는 웃으며 말했다, "그는 아마 계란을 넣으라고 한 것 같아!

Bomi laughed and said, "I think he said to add eggs!"

" 진수는 자신감 있게 보미의 말을 따르기로 했다.

Jinsu decided to confidently follow Bomi's suggestion.

하지만 사실, 알레산드로는 파스타 반죽에는 계란을 넣지 말라고 했던 것이다.

But in fact, Alessandro had said not to add eggs to the pasta dough.

시간이 지나고, 진수는 자신만의 특별한 방식으로 만들어진 파스타를 알레산드로에게 내놓았다.

As time passed, Jinsu presented his uniquely made pasta to Alessandro.

With a proud smile, he said, "My family will surely like it if I make it like this!"

"그 순간 보미가 조언을 덧붙이며 소리쳤다, "알레산드로가 버섯도 꼭 넣으라고 했어!

At that moment, Bomi shouted, adding advice, "Alessandro also said to definitely add mushrooms!"

" 그런데 알레산드로는 버섯에 대해 어떠한 언급도 한 적이 없었다.

클래스 참여자들은 웃음을 터뜨렸고, 알레산드로도 크게 웃음소리를 냈다.

The class participants burst into laughter, and Alessandro laughed heartily as well.

이 일이 끝난 후 진수는 깨달았다.

After this incident, Jinsu realized.

"내가 실수했지만, 그래도 좋은 경험이었어.

"I made a mistake, but it was still a good experience.

알고 보니 모두들 서로 웃고 있었잖아!

I realized that everyone was just laughing together!"

"진수는 앞으로 더 솔직해지기로 결심했다.

Jinsu decided to be more honest in the future.

그는 이제 다른 사람들이 돕는 것을 기쁘게 받아들이고, 보미와 함께 새로운 것을 배우는 즐거움을 느껴보고 싶었다.

He now wanted to gladly accept others' help and enjoy learning new things with Bomi.

오늘의 요리 클래스는 진수에게 큰 교훈을 주었다.
